In the area at a exhibition and had passed this place on a Monday and Tuesday when it was closed on the way to another restaurant on the same street but on Wednesday passed and saw it open so decided to give it a try as it looked homely and traditional inside.

We sat outside as it was a lovely evening and ordered some beautiful food. The menu is seasonal other than the staple Austrian dishes which you would expect to find. I had the roasted wild boar it was great. Portions are large in Vienna so I couldn't eat it all as I wanted to try a desert which was a lovely chestnut pancake.

The food and service were great so we came back the next night, I would have eaten here 4 nights had they been open every night as the menu has some great options.

Shout out to the lovely waiter he's a real character and very efficient. If I ever find myself in Vienna again this will be where...

The good part - this is a local Vienna gasthaus, in fact I think we were the only foreigners there. The staff are friendly, professional and speak excellent English. Portions are large and prices are reasonable. For full meals with beers and tip we paid €25 each, which would have been less had we gone for the usual menu rather than the Easter specialities.

The food was OK, perfectly acceptable, but nothing to write home about compared to similar places I've eaten at in Austria. Perhaps we should have gone for the normal menu rather than the Easter one.

The restaurant is a stone's throw from the Praterstern...

I recently traveled from New Jersey to Europe and this reel shares how I spent 2 nights in Vienna, Austria😆✈️🥀 🏨 WHERE WE STAYED: @zokuvienna I highly recommend this hotel! It is super aesthetic and the location is right next to the Prater Amusement Park. The staff are friendly and the rooms are comfortable. 📌DAY 1: • Quick breakfast near hotel at BRENNER • Took the U-Bahn from the Messe-Prater station to Vienna’s Old Town for lots of sightseeing • Mozart Wohnhaus • Column of Pest • St. Stephen’s Cathedral (we paid the €5.50/person to walk up the South Tower for panoramic views of the city) • Vienna State Opera House (we just walked by from the outside, but you can tour this and/or see a show here) • Apple Strudel at Pane é Cafe • The Hofburg • Volksgarten (my favorite spot we saw - free to walk through) • Checked into the Zoku hotel and enjoyed a beautiful sunset from the terrace lounge area (great views of the amusement park) • Dinner at Gasthaus Möslinger (near our hotel - traditional Austrian food) 📌DAY 2: • Breakfast at Das Eduard (loved this spot) • Schönbrunn Palace (free to explore most of the grounds - there are also paid attractions here) • Belvedere Palace (free to walk around the grounds - can pay to tour the museum, which I recommend) • Dinner at Salm Brau (a bit touristy and located right by the Belvedere Palace, but enjoyable atmosphere) • Prater Amusement Park (free to enter - you pay by ride) DAY 3 (LAST MORNING): • Breakfast at Baschly (near hotel) • Walked to the Danube River NEXT DESTINATION FROM THIS TRIP: AMSTERDAM ✈️🚤 Don’t forget to follow for more travel content plus things to do in and around New Jersey and the Northeast!☺️ #travelvlog #travelguide #viennaaustria #europetravel #destinationtravel #vienna #travelblogger

We visited the restaurant for dinner during a short staying at Vienna. It is situated quite near the giant ferris wheel at the Prater Park. The restaurant is very nice decorated and the atmosphere was warm. All the personnel were very helpful and polite to us and especially the waiter who served us! So we thank him a lot for everything. The prices of the dishes were pretty much expensive as almost in all the other restaurants we visited during our staying in Vienna but the food was delicious. I cannot tell you about parking space around the restaurant because I don’t know if it is allowed or not in that area of Vienna.
