Kempinski Lobby Lounge & Bar — Restaurant in Vienna

I had the opportunity to visit the Lobby Lounge & Bar at Palais Hansen Kempinski for the first time, and I must say, my initial impression left room for improvement. The service didn't quite meet the expectations one would have for a five-star hotel, and I even took the time to write an email to the manager about it. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the manager's response and their excellent behavior in addressing my concerns.

Despite the initial hiccups, I decided to give this place a second chance, and I'm glad I did. On my second visit, everything was significantly improved.

One thing that consistently stands out at this establishment is the atmosphere. The live classical music creates a soothing and elegant ambiance, making it an ideal spot for classical meetings or simply for relaxation. It's a place where you can truly unwind and enjoy your time.

In summary, while my first experience at the Lobby Lounge & Bar Palais Hansen Kempinski was a bit disappointing in terms of service and cleanliness, the excellent response from the management and the consistently enjoyable atmosphere on subsequent visits have turned this into a place I'm happy to return to for classical meetings...

Wir waren wegen einem Event in der Bar "lange Nacht der Hotelbars" und waren sehr positiv überrascht. Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Hotel und wurden sofort von einer außerordentlich netten Dame begrüßt die uns unsere Jacken abnahm. Daraufhin wurden wir zu einem Platz von einer weiteren Dame gebracht, die sich den ganzen Abend toll um die Gäste gekümmert hat, obwohl oder erst Recht, weil die Bar komplett voll war. Die Atmosphäre war mega und die Musikauswahl hätte nicht besser sein können. Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommen, die Cocktails lecker aber etwas teurer (20€ pro Cocktail). Wir kommen...

Afternoon tea gehad. Ik had hoge verwachtingen aangezien de afternoon tea in Anantara Krasnapolsky Amsterdam zo geweldig is. Zie mijn review van hen. Concept in Wenen is anders. Niet bij elke gang een andere thee (onbeperkt) Ruime keus uit thee is een positief punt. Het eten is oké, niet heel uitdagend/vernieuwend, zeker niet slecht. Al met al een oké afternoon tea maar niet heel bijzonder en zeker niet zo geweldig als in Amsterdam. Prijs technisch overigens duurder dan in Amsterdam. Maar! De verse afpelstrudel die elk uur vers gemaakt wordt is...
