Modern, minimalist style with an inexplicably large, empty area in front of the servery. There is counter service only, which, for security reasons alone, does not encourage returns for a second drink or additional food. The smartly dressed staff are efficient but, completely fail to inject any personality into their customer interaction. The coffee, however, is good and the yellow themed crockery stylish & classy. Unfortunately, the cafe's minimalist concept is extended to the size of the confectionary on offer but, not to the pricing. One also gets the impression that most of the phone/laptop/ tablet staring student clientel regard the premises as primarily a technical docking station where admission price to this hub of intense study includes a free coffee. This also adds to the somewhat soul-less atmosphere. Pity, really. There is a dearth of decent coffee houses in the area and I so wanted it to be good. Perhaps if some injection of something warmer than the almost clinical ambiance were to be cultivated, the experience would become so...

A guy who’s calling himself CHEF, came to my sister-in-law while she had a job interview( online) and interrupted her saying that she can talk ONLY WITH THE EARPHONES. 15 mins later I asked him in german language what was that, he said „ we trying to keep our customers satisfied” while showing me that on the opposite side of the coffee shop was a guy on lap top who has meeting also?!? SO LETS DISTURB HER IN THE MIDDLE OF A JOB INTERVIEW?!?!? Does it mean that I cannot sit with two more people and talk if that guy has a meeting?! I’m living in the same building, and I’m pretty sure I will never drink coffee there again. P.S. His response to me was rude, and yes… u can call yourself chef, but there are people who studied menagament and hospitality( like me), and this is not the way u should talk with...

The menu is short, and they don't offer English menu so it was difficult to know what the ingredients are. Also, I wish they had some pictures or a few of the most popular bagels /sandwitches/ desserts on display.

We ordered cappuccino and chai latte with almond milk (30 cent more), and the drinks were served cold. I don't understand how that could happen, because we got them straight after they'd made them. The "Apfelkuchen' was okay, nothing special.

The prices for this quality I would say is not worth it. And the coffee shop could offer more tables and chairs.

Besides this, the coffee shop is cozy, spacious and located in a quite residential area. It's easy to find, and about 15min walking distance from Kagran...

A true gem in Vienna’s coffee scene. Koun Coffee serves excellent specialty coffee with real attention to detail. The flat white was perfectly balanced and the chocolate croissant was rich and fresh. The hospitality is just as memorable as the coffee. The owner was genuinely friendly and even stepped outside to check on us as tourists in Vienna, a thoughtful gesture that reflects how much care goes into running this place. The setting is modern and minimalist with a few charming outdoor tables that create a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates great coffee and warm service.

Very modern and nice place. We went there to grab a bite in the morning. The cafe is very clean with lots of seating from couches to benches outside. I really liked the stylish and chique style of decor. The prices are okay. I do have to say that the pastries are a tiny bit expensive. The bagels are very tasty and worth the money. The drinks are also very big but a bit diluted. There is very fast working WiFi and lots of outlets to charge your devices making this cafe an adequate study spot. Overall I recommend this place as it stands out in the area.
