When it comes to Americanized Mexican food, this place serves the best burrito - in Vienna, mind you. Their burritos are packed with flavor, generously portioned, and the rice is cooked just right. But there’s no real heat, even when you specifically ask for spice. The tacos are definitely modern, with feta cheese, but they’re filling and delicious. Unlike the countless soulless taco and burrito joints in town, this place actually delivers. Prices are cheaper than many competitors, with (basic) burritos at around 11 euros. But 7 euros for doritos and cheese dip? Angela Johnson would be horrified. Regarding customer service, I did have issues with this shop when they first opened and had only nine reviews. The owner had an odd habit of cutting me off mid-question. That left a bad impression. However, they seem to have smoothed things out and now make an effort to be more polite. All in all, it's still a relatively pricey fast-food spot in terms of quality, but compared to other options in town, your money is much...
Read moreCAUTION THIS PLACE IS MANAGED BY THIEVES!! I went for the first time here today to test how authentic the food actually was, as a Puerto Rican with my mexican friend, the food was mediocre as best and I do NOT recommend going here, the cashier was VERY rude. My friend bought herself Nachos con queso which costed 8.90 so my friend gave 20 euros and since they didnt have any change, the cashier told her to wait until he had the appropiate change to give her what he owed. After receiving her order and going to the cashier to ask for the change that he owed her, the cashier denied her of HER money essentially stealing 11.10 euros from her. He kept putting up excuses like "You shouldve told me immediately not 5 minutes after" denying us OUR MONEY. All in all TERRIBLE DO NOT GO, the food is not even good, go to other places nearby like Tepanjaki and save your money...
Read moreI tried this spot during the Film Festival, but the burritos were disappointing. The meat and chicken were both quite dry, and the burrito itself was mostly rice (around 60%). The “birria” didn’t taste like birria at all.
I also requested my chicken burrito without pico de gallo, but it still came with it. On top of that, they took our order even though they had no beans left, which felt misleading.
On the positive side, the person at the register was polite and offered us free drinks after I mentioned the issues (I didn’t take any), but that doesn’t make up for the overall experience. Maybe the full restaurant setup is better, but based on this visit, I wouldn’t recommend it for the...
