This is a fantastic little (free) place to visit in Vienna. It probably takes about 5-15 minutes total to have a look around but the painted ceiling upstairs is phenomenal and any avid art fan could spend hours staring into the detail.

It's a great spot for some good pictures without having to spend money on an entrance fee and when we visited on a Wednesday afternoon in February, we had the whole place to ourselves.

The actual palace area is to the left side of a square courtyard which felt like a nice place to sit and avoid the crowds in Vienna too, with some good shops and souvenir stalls just outside. Palais Kinsky is a hidden gem and full of character - and given that it's free to enter, it's a real must-see for anyone travelling on a budget,...

Palais Kinsky in Vienna is an absolute marvel of Baroque architecture, standing as a testament to the city's rich history and cultural heritage. From the moment you lay eyes on its magnificent facade, you're transported back in time. The intricate details and craftsmanship are a true pleasure to behold. Inside, the opulence and artistry continue to amaze, with beautifully preserved interiors that offer a glimpse into the lavish lifestyle of its former aristocratic residents. Visiting Palais Kinsky is not just about admiring its aesthetic beauty but also appreciating the historical significance it holds within Vienna's storied past. A must-visit for anyone interested in architecture, history, or simply looking to experience the grandeur of...
