It was ok. We stayed across the street at the Hilton and were looking for a lunch place and saw this “California” burrito place. There is a small indoor section at this location but the majority of the seats are outside which was refreshing. It’s similar to Chipotle in the style of preparation and the guy inside even made a joke “welcome to Chipotle” and winked when he saw we were American. It was actually funny and I appreciated his humor. You make your own burrito/bowl and I chose the grilled chicken. There was also a chipotle marinated chicken but it didn’t look appetizing (like it had been there for awhile) and the pork or beef? looked very dry. I took the standard toppings like guacamole, cheese, lettuce and mild sauce. The guacamole needed salt and had a bit too much lime since it was pretty tangy. I liked that they had hibiscus tea in the cooler. Overall it was ok, but definitely didn’t feel like an outstanding lunch. It was worth a try and I may try it again some time but not at the...
Read moreNice for a European burrito, but if you’re coming from California (like I am) you’ll probably be disappointed. Raw ingredients (lettuce, tomatoes, guac) are as fresh as you can get at the grocery stores in vienna, but that means they’re not as fresh as they would be in a burrito I’d have in the US or Mexico. The nice is the European immigration of Mexican rice, and it tastes inauthentic and not as good as you’d want. Meat was well seasoned and cooked though. Salsa is also not very spicy, but that’s to be expected in a continent where most people can’t handle spicy food.
Service is friendly (though they don’t know how to properly wrap a burrito). Ambiance is a what you’d expect for a spot at the train station.
Overall I’d choose it over McDonald’s or something like that, but not something I’m going to bother coming back/going out...
Read moreFound it surprising that this is a cash only place, so be sure you have cash before you wait in the often long lines during lunchtime. This restaurant is very similar to Chipotle in almost every way, but I found the food to be much more flavorful here. The lines were long, but they moved fast. You can create your own meal, bowl, burrito, etc and select all the ingredients you want. Some are extra, others are included. I had a chicken bowl and found it to be quite good, although a little salty. Seating is very limited here on the first level, with additional seating upstairs. You might have to wait a little while for a table to open up. Overall I liked the place, it was fast and efficient and kept clean. This location has clean toilets but not particularly accessible or accommodating for those with mobility impairments...
