Unacceptable Behavior by the Owner
I've been coming to this cafĆ© for almost a yearāgreat coffee, amazing staff, and delicious pastries. It's a perfect spot to work or just enjoy a cup of coffee.
However, the owner does not seem to believe in treating customers with basic respect.
The issue arose when I brought and ate food (a bowl) from outside. This had never been a problem beforeāI had done the same for over six months without any issues. Yet, this time, the owner found it unacceptable.
Instead of politely explaining the policy or asking me to step aside for a private conversation, he confronted me on the spot, in front of other customers sitting at a large shared table, likely making them uncomfortable. His approach was aggressive, with phrases like:
"Who allowed you to eat this here?" "Would you like it if someone brought their own food to your home?" "Which country are you from?"
When I calmly pointed out that he shouldnāt speak that way, he replied, "You have no right to tell me how to talk." Later, when I suggested having a civil conversation, he refused, saying, "Iām not going to talk."

It's mostly students from the Tech Uni buildings around it, so it has a casual, chill atmosphere, sociably quiet, but also plenty other customers like me, older, drop-ins, tourist or two... because it's just a good coffee place. The coffee blends used are rich n nutty, and all the 'espresso' styles well turned out. Milk from other than cows, too. And no fancy prices. Thnx, people š
PS. PanicāI think its name "No Panic" must be a play on words 'cos it's on Paniglgasse š ... it's such a peaceful and inviting vibe, and you can linger over your brew long as you like, probably šš» The only panic imaginable is if the coffee runs out š±. No...

Safe to say it is a bit on the pricier side compared to other cafes when it comes to matcha. I only had the matcha affogato, which was crazy expensive for vanilla ice cream topped with matcha. It would only be worth 8 euro 50 cents if the ice cream was hand made. It was quite hot inside, there was only a singular fan. It's really good for people who come to work on their laptop since there is a very spacious and large table! The outside is pleasant with minimal pigeons. I have not tried any of their other drinks or desserts, but matcha-wise, not my...
