Does it serve the best pho that I've had so far in Vienna? Absolutely. Will I come back? Not in any way, shape for form. Oh my god. The people who run this place act as if they are still in the old country. But even there, a lot of what they do are considered bad mannered. Item 1, an old man who looked like one of the owners of the restaurant played his phone so loud outside while sitting next to a customer, making her uncomfortable. Why? Item 2, when I got inside to use the bathroom, I found one of the servers completely laying down on the wall seat, taking a nap, inside the restaurant. What if a customer wants to sit there, should they wake him up? Item 3, when I got out of the bathroom, the owner family, eating in one table, stared at me hardly. I don't consider that good mannered. (A point to add: I didn't experience any slow serving time. It was...
Read moreA cozy little place run by people who truly know what they are doing, they care about the customer and will personally ensure that you have a great experience. The food itself is amazing, authentic and absolutely delicious. As someone who does not like raw veggies or salads in general, I really enjoyed the summer rolls and the salad that came with my food that had a delicious dressing. The soup was nice and hot snd the dumplings were perfectly balanced. Everything is flavourful to the maximum, fresh, light and right on point. I had the duck with the mango-coconut sauce and the sauce tasted so mango-ey and sweet in just the right ways and it complimented the rive perfectly. The service is also absolutely perfect! I would absolutely reccomend taking the advice of the staff on which...
Read moreAuthentic Vietnamese restaurant, as far as we can tell. Service is inconsistent. The owner is super friendly to some people and kind of rude to other people. Also, on our last visit, there were a lot of fruit flies flying around, so I advise them to take care of that. As for the food, we had Bún Riêu Cua, a crab tomato soup that easily rivals Phở. It is hard to get authentic Bún Riêu in Austria, but this places is the closest to what I have eaten with my Vietnamese partner in Huế for breakfast. But even that was a bit inconsistent, as last time the rice noodles were broken down into little bits and the broth wasn’t as good. Might be a new cook or a bad day and I don’t think it should stop you from visiting this place, but I try to give readers of reviews a...
