The atmosphere is very nice and the design was very creative and created a very fun and cozy vibe. The waitress was very kind and helpful and she could speak both german and English so you don’t have to worry about communication. I have never tried Vietnamese food before and was very excited however i was disappointed. We ordered summer roles and it was kind of bland and the nuts inside ruined the flavor for me. We ordered beef, chicken, and veggie pho and the beef was the best out of all of them. With the beef pho the beef tasted amazing and tender and the soup could have more flavor but it was tasty however the noodles were very bland for me and the portion was too much so i couldn’t complete my food. The chicken pho tasted weird i wouldn’t recommend it. This is my first time trying pho so i don’t know if this is how it’s supposed to taste like but i didn’t enjoy it. I think in a cold rainy day this could be a comfort meal.
•Some things to be aware of before you go there: -They only accept cash, but there is an atm nearby -the portions are HUGE, i think one could fill two people up. -the menu on google is an old one so the prices are different one pho isn’t 9.90 euro but 12...
Read moreAn amazing time we had in this small and quaint shop. I’m surprised it isn’t packed to the brim considering the quality and authenticity of the food here. We’ve been gallivanting across Europe for almost a week now and every single meal was either bread or potatoes. Bread and potatoes are delicious but during winter all you want is a hot piping bowl of soup with delicious beef and noodles. As a Singaporean the food really endeared to me. It really reminded me of this Vietnamese restaurant opened by a Vietnamese friend of mine in Singapore. Very clean soup. Very tasty soup. It’s unpretentious and damn blardy amazing. The bun cha was very well barbecued and it was such a great respite in this winter month. I’d come back again everytime I’m in Vienna.
Service was sublime. Probably the best service we’ve had in Europe so far. We were served by a Vietnamese front of house whose name was Katie and the chef was a cool looking bearded dude who cooked our food....
Read morePho was pretty decent. The meats were REALLY good, but the broth was bland. Plus, they gave us a tiny amount of sprouts, which was disappointing. We also ordered some summer rolls (rice paper rolls). It was yummy, but there was no pork in it like the classic ones. I would've given it a higher rating, but the service was pretty bad... The waitress did not care about us at all, and had a terrible attitude. I also got a passive aggressive look because I didn't tip (I didn't want to, because I didn't enjoy the service). I was so shocked to see that even the receipt had written something like: "In case you didn't know, but now you know, tips are not included." It's like they're forcing you to tip. As a customer, I don't want to be forced to do something I don't want to do. So the place is ok, but not amazing - the neighbourhood has so many great pho places, so I'd go...
