Easily my new favorite restaurant.
Im Italian and have never experienced that much of an authentic taste anywhere in Vienna. Dont get me wrong, there are a lot of amazing italian restaurants in Vienna that are worth your money, but this one surpasses those by a long shot!
Place is beautiful and cozy. Staff is native italian and they impress with their friendly and topnotch service. Food is the best italian i had outside of Sicily, and Sette could easily compete tastewise.
I think regarding taste, youll have a hard time finding anything that comes close. It puts to a shame, any restaurant that asks for the same money for their food, cause Sette just showed everyone what can be possible, with competence, principles and love for what one does.
I dont usually write reviews (reading this back it seems payed), but firstly Im proceastinating writing a paper rn, and secondly, Sette just makes me so happy, and with my first bite i felt back "at home"
I highly recommed the fried lasagne and if you like white wine, try 'Matis'.

Read moreHi, we definitely wanted to try this restaurant because of the special dishes it offers. No problem we vote 5 stars for the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. We are a bit puzzled by the price, high high price ... we do not understand how we spent all this money ... but we plan to come back and recommend it to those who want to try something different.

Hi again, I took the time and did the math myself. The waiter announced the bill using the electronic terminal and didn't provide a paper copy for me. (my bad??). Anyway the bill jumped from 56 to 63 euros, and my theory is that something was double counted ... probably the glass of wine. Then I understand the argument about the quality of the ingredients but a glass of wine at 7 euros and a mineral water at 6.20... are the Viennese okay with that?

Really loved trying the Roman pizza - it turned out to be very different pizza than I imagined 😄 It is crunchy but fluffy, with flavourful adds on with tastful sources on top. We took Setta and Napoli. 2 pizzas were enough for 3 people, with 2 appetizers beforehand.
I loved my non alcoholic coctail with cranberries!
Both dessert were delicious but chocolate Sacher is the winner!
Both waiters were friendly, knowledgable and good advisers. When we were not sure if we should order 3 or 2 pizzas, they recommended to start with 2. Thanks to their advice we had space for the dessert 😍
This place is perfect for a date, a coffee and a cake or drinks with friends place. Will come back to taste the rest...
