The evening started well, but the moment we sat at our table I noticed that the menu that they put on each table and secure it with a clip was dirty. They didn’t change it after the previous customers. But that wasn’t a big issue. The issue started when we ordered our pizzas and our friend’s pizza was burnt at the bottom. It was super dry and tasted burnt which was the main issue. I’ll add it was supposed to be Neapolitan pizza. My friend asked if she can get a new one, since she’s been there many times before and she always liked it. The waitress took the pizza to the bar and started calling other waiters and discussing it, clearly unhappy that they had to order another Margherita, the cheapest from the menu, that would cost them 1€. She then came back to our table with another waiter basically arguing that this is how it is because of the oven they have, and she can order another pizza but it will come out exactly the same. It was super unprofessional as the waitress expected my friend to take the pizza back (that’s btw been laying on the bar for 5 min, and the waitress touched it without any cuttlery to check the bottom of it.) They did order a new one with a massive attitude that you could clearly see from their faces but very quickly after that, my friend cancelled the order as she was very disappointed with the way they handled everything. I will add- this was not a good pizza - mine was burnt and dry as hell, so if you want to eat authentic Neapolitan pizza, maybe avoid this place. Anyways, back to the Margherita, even though it was cancelled, they still came out with it and the waitress shouted from 3m to our table “You don’t want it anymore right?”. Crazy.

It got even wilder- there was a couple seating close to us and they ordered 2 pizzas, a bottle of water and a bottle of wine. The tables are so tiny there is no place to fit everything so they put their wine cooler on another table which is already sth that should not be happening. They could get a standing wine cooler if they have such small tables. But anyways, the waiter approached them and said the cooler can’t be on the other table and they asked him “where should we put it then?”, clearly showing there was NO room to put in on the table. The waiter proceeded to move their bags that were on an extra chair (made from plastic strings) and put the water and the wine cooler on the chair. So you go there, spend around €50 on a bottle of wine alone and you have to put the wine on a chair. Unbelievable

So. To sum up: pizza was 3/10, very dry and expensive for what it was service was 0/10 tables were dirty the waitress...

I have a mixed bag of feelings. All started out quite well in the beginning however it went south. And fast. The good thing first, the place has a cool ambiance and it is quite unique, being located somewhat inside / directly adjacent to Volksgarten. Nice view, good music, friendly service (in the beginning).

My s/o and I opted for one pizza Diavola and one pizza Tonno so we could go halfsies on each. The Diavola was really delicious however the Tonno did not come at the same time as the others (6 or 7 pizzas in total). So pretty sure they just forgot. Which honestly would not have been an issue, had the Pizza that they then prepared - probably in quite a hurry - not have been an incredible disappointment. A poor man's margherita graced with a smidgen of tuna. Mind you, at a price of € 16. Which is a lot for a pizza in my book.

So there I was, quite ticked off already. To top it off, we had to wait for a good 30 minutes when we wanted to pay. Again, I could have forgiven that, if it weren't for the fact that we asked three times whether we could pay and our last time asking was met with a snarky response in the spirit of "I got better things to do". Self pretentious employees for a...

Food: 2. Pizza is nothing special. Specially for the price is not good.

Prices: 2. Very over priced. Pizza vary from 12€ Margherita, to Bufala 15, to truffle 22.

Drinks price around 15€ for a spritz. (!!!)

Waiting time: 1. You need to wait ONE HOUR to get the pizza. 30 min for the drinks. Unacceptable.

Service: 1. They mess up the orders, they don’t know to whom belongs. They serve pizzas to then taking them back, look from whom they are AND SERVING THEM TO OTHERS!! After talking on it and contaminated from other people. CRAZY!! Leave the pizzas somewhere to check to whom belongs and getting cold!! —- IT HAPPENED MORE TIMES —-

location: 5. The place is super nice, they have live dj, lights.. an open air restaurant dance floor

Brand: 0. The waiter told us that the name used “Alexander Kumptner,, (a known tv chef) was bought. He does not have anything to do with the local!! Just marketing.
