Atmosphere: most of their indoor seatings are reserved, if you want to seat indoor better book online 48 hours before. the outdoor seating are also mostly full but there's always few empty table toilet available, lots of fancy guests too..
Service: always busy but still smiling faces, their waiter and waiteress can speak English and happy to get your orders in English. They may also ask for tips when u ask for the bills. Our food came first before our drinks which I find a bit weird cus for breakfast in my preference I like drink hot coffee before eat anything. So the drinks does take sometime to arrive due to many customers.
Food: Kaiserschmaan without raisin: honestly it was my firsttime, I can taste the vanilla and egg taste. It's like a pancake cake crumble, it comes with 2 type of non sweet jams, Cost about 14€.Slightly it's on the higher side but tastewise I will give 7/10 could be better but still okay.
Marzipan almond cake: it's not too sweet, it's good. price wise about 7€. Not dry I din feel choke eating it. Tastewise: 9/10
Cold Creampuff roll like crossoint consistency : not sweet, good I'd give 8.5/10
Drinks: there's Eis Coffee and Eis chocolate drink (eis= ice cream).. Taste okay

Read moreThis place is absolutely over-hyped. I've had better coffee, better cakes and better service at many places which have far less gravitas.
I feel that this place relies on its name rather than the quality of the overall experience and this lets it down.
The coffee is just ok, nothing special. The speciality teas are just tea bags rather than proper loose leaf tea.
The apfelstrudel had absolutely been microwaved as it was far too hot and soggy to be from a convection oven.
The Mozart Torte although fluffy and light was disappointing and lacked flavour or substance.
Service was fairly cold to the point of almost being rude.
The toilets are located in the basement and are old. Not in a good way like the original toilets would have been, but in a way which is like a gas station toilet which needs renovation.
If you're expecting to sit inside the historic building, you will be disappointed. We booked 2 months in advance and were seated, like most people in the conservatory area which wraps around the outside of the building.
Overall the experience isn't worth your time, the interior of the building lacks much of its original character and the food is just ok.
They will need to improve their standards if they hope to last another 100 years. If they coast along on their reputation their...
