Y’all, this sushi isn’t good. Let me preface this by saying, I’m from the United States and am used to sushi in mid-sized metro area.

This sushi isn’t good. We had the wakame salad, ehh fine, hard to get wrong. The salmon tartar roll and the dragon roll at first. The salmon tartar has salmon on top and the role is just made of a huge chuck of avocado and cucumber. The dragon roll was filled with (I think tuna) and cucumber and topped with avocado and berries ( I’m not joking, blue berry and raspberries). So overall the rolls were fine, but the cucumber pieces they used were just like the skin? So it gave the roll the most bizarre texture. Then the berries on the one roll, I thought it was masago from the picture and was surprised when it had berries.

The rolls for some reason have an overall flavor of bananas?? I’m not sure if it’s the type of avocado they use but it’s definitely odd.

As we were still hungry we tried to order some tuna and salmon sashimi which was a mistake. The Salmon was fine, kinda hard to mess that up and the tuna was that fake looking tuna that’s like of off putting color of an eraser. Also the fish was so cold, like borderline frozen.

Staff was fast, setting is nice. Just don’t go here expecting any type of sushi experience other than laughing about how odd...

Es war einfach eine sehr unangenehme Erfahrung, die ich nicht noch einmal erleben möchte! Ich war heute mit meiner Freundin in diesem Café. Uns hat sowohl die Atmosphäre als auch das Essen und der Kellner, der uns bedient hat, sehr gut gefallen. Er war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir waren so begeistert, dass wir so einen tollen Ort für uns entdeckt haben.

Doch was am Ende passiert ist, hat den gesamten positiven Eindruck vollkommen ruiniert.

Man konnte an der Kasse mit Karte bezahlen. Als wir dort ankamen, wurde uns die Rechnung gezeigt, und ich sagte, dass ich auf eine bestimmte Summe aufrunden möchte, um Trinkgeld zu geben. Die Mitarbeiterin gab den Betrag in das Zahlungsterminal ein, und ich hielt meine Karte an das Gerät. Als nach dem PIN gefragt wurde, habe ich ihn eingegeben – doch es erschien eine Fehlermeldung: „Falscher PIN“. Ich dachte, vielleicht habe ich eine Zahl nicht richtig gedrückt, also versuchte ich es erneut – wieder dasselbe Problem.

Dann erinnerte ich mich, dass ich einmal in einer Apotheke im 10. Bezirk ein ähnliches Problem mit einem Terminal hatte. Dort wurde mir gesagt, dass ich die Karte nicht auflegen, sondern einstecken soll – und dann hat alles funktioniert. Der PIN war derselbe.

Als ich also sagte, dass ich die Karte einstecken muss, bekam ich eine unhöfliche Antwort: „Ihr PIN ist falsch!“, und das in einem lauten und unangenehmen Tonfall, sodass es das ganze Café hören konnte. Ich war schockiert und sagte, dass das nicht sein kann. Erstens: Wenn man den PIN mehrmals falsch eingibt, wird die Karte gesperrt – das ist nicht passiert! Zweitens: Warum zeigt die Mitarbeiterin so wenig Höflichkeit, und was wäre das Problem gewesen, es einfach zu versuchen?

Während ich noch völlig perplex war, hat meine Freundin schließlich mit ihrem Handy bezahlt.

Wir sind sofort zur Bank gegangen, um es zu überprüfen – und mein PIN war korrekt!

Außerdem haben wir weitere Informationen gefunden: Einige Kartenlesegerät lehnen die Zahlung ab und zeigen an, dass die Transaktion fehlgeschlagen ist. In diesem Fall empfehlen wir, die Karte in das Gerät einzuführen und die PIN einzugeben.

Also: Seid vorsichtig und seid nicht vorschnell unhöflich! Meine Stimmung war komplett ruiniert, und ich werde nicht zurückkommen – es war einfach eine sehr unangenehme Erfahrung, die ich nicht noch einmal...

We visited this restaurant yesterday as a group of 9 people. The food here is truly top-notch 🍽️. The staff definitely deserve a 9/10 for their service 👨‍🍳. However, one thing that disappointed me, and something I’d really like to see changed, is the inability to pay with a Visa card 💳. Come on, guys, we’re in the 21st century! 🌍 Just cover the Visa commission – it won’t hurt, and the customers will be much happier 😊.

As for the food 🍱, the kimchi was exactly as it should be 🥢, so big thanks for that 🙌. The sushi 🍣 was also very enjoyable. The price 💰 is slightly above average, but for the great quality and service, it’s worth the extra cost 👍.
