Bierol: Mountain Pale Ale
Bierol: The Padawan

I was so excited to pop in for my Sunday afternoon coffee. I'd heard so much about this place, and it was on my must try in Vienna list. I ordered my standard espresso drink, a cortado, but was served a flat white. When I asked they swap for an espresso they wanted to charge me again. Yes, there are regional variances in the cortado, but in speciality coffee everywhere I have been in the world I get 1:1 espresso to milk within a small 10-15% range. To be told this is what ours is and not even try to correct, or offer me something else left a bad taste in my mouth. First disappointing experience I've had in Vienna, so I am lucky, because if this was my first impression of the city I'd be very put off.

I really recommend the management check into this.

The 2nd star is because the vibe was cool, as were the...

Stumbled into Kaffemik and was greeted by an Australian barista so friendly I briefly considered inviting him to my wedding (no date set, but still). The vibe? So chill I thought I accidentally walked into a Scandinavian meditation retreat — minus the chanting, plus really good V60.

The coffee was so good I came back a second time, which, for me, is basically commitment. If I come a third time, I expect a loyalty ring.

Only reason it’s not 5 stars? Because I need some mystery in my life, and perfection scares me. But seriously, great brew, relaxed space, and an Aussie accent that makes even “flat white” sound exotic.

Would recommend if you like quality coffee, low-key vibes, and being greeted like a long-lost...

Cozy specialty coffee spot, located right next to Maria Hilfer Str.! The barista are very nice and helpful and the guest roasts are fun to discover.

We came here on a holiday and it was neither too full nor empty. The barista took his time to explain us all the different roasts they had for the day and we had a blast tasting our way through the menu. Especially the iced cappuccino with their house blend is very nutty and chocolatty! Also perfect with oat milk.

There are few spots inside but when it’s this nice, the seats outside are great! Or if you’re shopping your way through mahü, you can also get...

Loved the place! This is a real specialty cafe not just a claimed one. You can have drinks with multiple options of tasty single origin beans. We had cappuccinos with Peru and Burundi beans. Althout each had a distinct flavour profile (Burundi more on the fruity, berry like side while Peru a more classical nutty variety that fits good with milk drinks), both were very well balanced. They brew espressos on La Marzocco - well extracted and tasty shots. There are also variety of coffee beans and pastries for sale.

Totally third wave coffee style! The staff is kind, welcoming and knows what they are talking about. The coffee is amazing! Especially the cold brew, be sure to give it a try. They also got a small selection of sweet snacks. The atmosphere is quite minimalistic but you still feel at home there. The outdoor seating is a bit inconvenient since the tables feel like the are straight out of a kindergarden. Anyway, awesome place to get a quick coffee!
