We visited at the end of March with a group and were quickly seated on high stools. We had a mother with us who needed to feed her child. There was an empty table nearby, so we asked if she could sit there to feed her child, as it would only take about 10 minutes. We were told that the table was reserved and that customers would arrive in 15 minutes. We explained that the time would suffice for us, but we were still refused. No alternative seating options were offered, and no additional chairs were provided. The woman, who turned out to be the manager, rudely told us to go outside to feed the child. We left the establishment as the temperature was just over 5 degrees. Although we communicated politely, the customer service tone was unacceptable. The manager interrupted us, did not listen, and behaved rudely. Consequently, we decided not to order any food.

REVISED BY MARGO. Not recommended because of the stuff and attitude...

Such a cute carousel turned into a café with a twinkle of fun childhood nostalgia.

Our nice waiter was so friendly and patient! He calmly explained which gluten-free and vegan options I could have. He also saw us trying to stabilise our wobbly table and immediately came to assist us whilst being polite and apologetic. I wasn’t able to get his name but I hope he gets this message: Thank you for your kind service!

The food we had was delicious, although my friend wasn’t sure if her Eggs Benedict had too much hollandaise or too little eggs 😅 Also, her cup had some crack inside; that should be checked for safety reasons. Nevertheless, the overall score is 5/5!

I find the flexibility to order the extras as à la carte really practical, especially for those who have food sensitivities like me.

Pricing is just right for the quality of food and the location. I would say inflation also plays...

We attended the restaurant on Saturday for lunch. The breakfast menu was ending in 10 minutes and the lunch menu was starting in 15 mins. We ordered our food from the lunch menu and were told we would need to wait for 20 mins before our food would come- absolutely fine as it was a beautiful day. After 20 mins, the server came to us saying they have sold out of one of the items on the menu- bearing in mind, there are only 4 options on the menu. We asked if we could get a breakfast item or maybe some eggs as a side as there were limited options for my pregnant wife. The server flatly refused. We tried to give him options, and rather than trying to be amenable, he pretty much said we can go to another restaurant. Really ruined majority of our day as we had to go find another restaurant on a Sunday afternoon! Really disappointed- 0 For customer service!! I would definitely not recommend...

The location is fantastic. The food, even though it took far long to prepare, was excelent. The selection of available dishes was very lacking past 2pm. They do have a nice selection of breakfast menus. Each one of the breakfast menus we ordered was excelent. Now the bad things: The staff were kind of slow. They didn't take the dirty dishes off our table until the very end. We were having a birthday party in egl fashion dresses, ballgowns, princess dresses, etc. The staff and/or manager/owner were gossiping and laughing behind our backs and they did that very openly. They were saying things like "they act like children, like 12 year olds" while we were taking pictures to commemorate the birthday of a dear friend. That kind of behavior is rude, unprofessional and impolite.

+: The fish & egg bread as well as the pastrami & egg bread were very delicious. The scrambled egg was perfectly cooked, the salad had a great dressing and everything worked really well together. The chery chocolate tarte was well balanced, chocolately and fruity, therefore not too sweet. ~: The chocolate tarte and the salted caramel cheesecake were quite rich, so you definitely have to like that - otherwise it could be too much. It can get very noisy because the restaurant is quite popular. Due to the popularity I recommend making a reservation in advance. The breakfast was very delicious and the interior design is really nice. The staff is also very attentive and friendly, which is why I would visit it again.
