I visited this place after a friend's recommendation, and I was excited to try it out. I always make a reservation, especially on Saturdays, since it can get busy.
Unfortunately, from the start, things felt off. Despite having a reservation, we weren’t seated until 15 minutes after our time. I asked the two servers whether we can be seated and both of them told us to just wait regardless of free tables.
As soon as we were seated, we were ignored for another 15 minutes while the server prioritized people who arrived after us. To make matters worse, our coffee arrived lukewarm and filled with milk. It was sitting on the bar counter for what seemed an hour.
The only redeeming factor was the food, which was quite good. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is out of respect for the kitchen. The Shakshuka, in particular, was exquisite. However, being understaffed and having slow service definitely impacted the experience. I could sense that the kitchen staff was frustrated by this as well. Having so many tickets to bell while ready food remains on the counter is a clear sign of disorganization and poor workflow management.
Would I recommend it? Not really. If you’re interested in trying the food, I’d suggest ordering online instead. No need to waste so much time begging the servers to take your order. The service needs significant...
Read moreIf you’re looking for the absolute worst dining experience in Vienna, look no further than Spazio Cafe. From start to finish, the entire experience was a disaster.
Firstly, they seem to have a severe shortage of basic dining essentials—no forks, no knives, no napkins. It makes you wonder if they even bother with cleanliness at all! After waiting for an hour, we finally got our drinks, only for the wrong food order to arrive. We specifically ordered a dish that included salmon, yet somehow they managed to serve us bacon instead. And did they notify us of this switch? Of course not!
When we tried to speak with the manager to resolve the issue, we were served a waffle topped with bananas and Oreos—completely unrelated to our complaint and utterly disgusting, especially since it came without any clean plates or cutlery.
If you have time to waste and want to experience a dining nightmare, this is the place for you. The only saving grace was the decent music, but that’s hardly enough to salvage...
Read moreFound this place on TikTok and it didn’t disappoint. We went for brunch without a reservation and the wonderful waitress named Anna found us a spot. The food is great, I ordered Norwegian Catch Bagel and it was one of the best bagels that I have ever eaten. Everything else was also delicious. The prices are affordable for Vienna and what you’re being served. The portions were more than enough. Anna (the cute waitress) surprised us when she offered to prepare a special drink from her country for me and my friends (we were 4 people). It was a latte with a very distinct taste and a secret ingredient. Me and my friends loved it and it should definitely be added on the menu for everyone to enjoy. Overall, a 5-star experience including the food, especially THAT drink and service from Anna....
