The place is tiny so you definitely need to reserve in advance, sadly it’s only possible over the phone and not on their website. Our food and drinks were really tasty. What ruined the experience for us was the service. We made a reservation and, as we got there, i mentioned to the waitress that it was a special occasion (my friend’s birthday). The waitress, however, never ended up wishing her a happy birthday which i already then found off putting. We also never got a discount, a cake or a free drink from them like we expected. After i’ve paid our bill and left the waitress a good tip (i always do because i understand the hustle), i nicely asked about our bill, because the prices on the menu online and in real life don’t match and the waitress never showed me the bill nor offered to print it out (i wanted to know how much money my friend should transfer me). The waitress gave me the most arrogant answer ever with unexpected and very unnecessary attitude, saying something about how she shouldn’t be doing all that for us. And after i apologized for the inconvenience (i guess it’s inconvenient for her to do her job), she simply turned around and walked off, not saying a usual goodbye or wishing us a good day. I promise you my complaints are valid because im a waitress myself and not some kind of Karen. The waitress is in her early 20s (so am i, i don’t get what her problem was), she has light brown/blonde shoulder length hair (kind of like a wolf cut with bangs). So avoid visiting if you see her working, unless you want to be treated with such disrespect. I haven’t experienced such unfriendly service in a while, which left a really bitter after taste for the rest of...
Read moreWe were looking for the pleasant restaurant for the breakfast and decided to go here, and what we’ve got wasn’t pleasant at all. The service is kinda horrible for a few reasons. The restaurant wasn’t full packed but we were waiting for the menus for a long time (and the waitress gave us the menu only after some other people sat nearby, huh). Our meals were mixed up, not that big deal, but well, we’ve almost started to eat them, and that’s good we’ve noticed it ourselves in time. After, we wanted to pay, and I asked for a bill, waitress said someone will come to us, but well, it never happened, so we were forced to come to the bar and the waitress by ourselves. We didn’t like the service, it was too “idc”, so we decided not to give the tips, and then the worst thing happened. After the payment, the waitress leaned over and patted me on the shoulder, saying, “And so you know, when you’ll be in the other restaurant, tips are not included in Austria, haha“💀💀💀 Well, so you know, we know it, and we work in restaurant in Austria ourselves, guys. The food and coffee are good, but the music is kinda too loud for this type of a place. And yeah, the service destroyed our mood completely. Pity, because we thought it’s a friendly and caring...
Read moreWe visited Florentin during afternoon, 4th of October. The restaurant had still a couple of other customers too who left in a while, because the place was about to close.
We stayed as long as we could, while at the same time this extremely friendly restaurant manager was making us feel welcome, assuring us there was no rush to leave.
So, enjoying the beautiful dishes, which not only looked really delicious but also the taste met the expectations here! Every time she brought us our next set of mouth watering treats, this lovely manager stopped and talked with us, explaining the menu and the history of the place.
Wondering and being amazed by the comfy, cozy and overall welcoming interior, we ended up talking about pictures of people on the walls. Shortly after, this extremely friendly and heartwarming manager also took a picture of us and now, you can see us there too! :)
Thank you for top notch customer service and the heartwarming, welcome feeling you made us have.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen,
Kesi &...
