Really great dining experience.

The two guys running the place are very friendly and legitimately interested in providing a great meal. Really great service. We had the "chaos" menu which was fantastic. It's a four course meal, all chef's choice. First a selection of their appetizers which has both vegetable and fish mezes. Second is a mixed plate of seafood. Third is a mixed plate of grilled meats (we were given dear, pork, and duck), all perfectly cooked. And last is a dessert plate. Excellent portion sizes of each, we were never too full or hungry so we enjoyed the taste of everything. The pacing of the food was great. They took their time, we didn't feel rushed at all. They gave us plenty of time to enjoy the food and chat in between courses. We asked them to pair the dishes with some wine and they made great selections. All of the meat and seafood they serve is in a vitrine with a small open kitchen, everything is very clean and neat. Cozy interior, well decorated, not too...

We had dinner at this hidden gem back in April to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. Our time at Tenha was not just a dinner, but an unforgettable experience: we asked the chef-owner for a suggestion and, knowing we were there for a special occasion, he proposed to prepare a menu with his personally recommended dishes and fresh ingredients of the day. From the little aperitif to seafood and meat, every dish is curated in detail and brings you through a journey where the blend between international influences is clear but delicate. The restaurant is small and intimate, with soft lighting and a wonderful attention of the co-owner/waiter, who anticipated our needs and made sure we always had some wine to cheer on that unique date. This is definitely a special spot in Vienna, we hope to be back soon. Thank you for a...

Truly incredible experience, so many possibilities (a la carte, whole fish for two, multi course menu with/without your preferences).

We basically chose a surprise menu and it couldn't have been better. We had a tartar of norway lobster, scallop on lovage puree, black tiger shrimp on asian vegetables, veal with parmigiano and rocket, lamb chomp on white polenta, deer filet with red cabbage and dumpling. We also chose the wine pairing which was excellent as well. As a dessert we got a chocolate tarte with sorbet paired with a glass of Bumbu rum - delicious.

Not only the food and drinks were great - service was too and we felt very welcomed.

We...

We went to Tenha for Valentines Day dinner and had a lovely and romantic meal. We eat low carb so tasting menus are usually a no-go for us. But we asked the server if the chef could do the Chaos Menu low-carb and she said ‘I will ask the chef but yes, I think so’. She came back and told us the chef said ‘enthusiastically absolutely’. And so it was. A seafood platter appetizer. Then a fish course featuring 2 fish with salted skin as well as octopus and prawns. Then a meat course with lamb, beef tagliata, and veal. The service was pampering. As we left we congratulated the chef on an amazing meal.

My husband and I are foodies and this is one of the best restaurants in Vienna. The food is simply superb, whether it's the meat (incl local venison), seafood, or sides. The chef is great at making recommendations and can flexibly combine different dishes if you have trouble choosing. (Their "salzwiesen" lamb is the best lamb we've had in our lives.) They have a good selection of different very good and interesting wines, and the service is incredibly friendly. The ambiance is cosy and relaxed. Very good value for money. We highly recommend!
