Not at all delicious food and the worst staff I have ever met! First we had a reservation for 4 persons, 2 got sick in the same day but they open at 17:30 and we booked at 17:30 so i wasnt able to call them. Second we enter and she started to yell at us, i had the feeling that everyone was looking at us, half of the restaurant was empty but she was convinced that everyday is fully booked and why i didnt call to tell them about the 2 people that they cant make it. Then she found another reason, that we are too late like 15 min. Every restaurant in this world is keeping your reservation for 10,15 or even 20 min. But she had to make a scene of course. I felt so bad that I wanted to leave but my bf was too hungry so we stayed. The person serving us at the table was very nice and kind. After 10 min 2 ladies come in they have no reservation and they get a table right away. I was perplex 😕. So staff awful, restaurant is dirty and looks like a cantine, one can notice they didnt invest in any decoration, food awful, doesnt taste like nothing, they dont explain too much because language problems so I believe for non Asian people is not a very welcomed place to be. Never again and i even say to as many people as i can to not go there not even if it...
Read moreAverage food with the worst service I’ve ever experienced.
If you ever go to this place, don’t ask the waiters any questions. I’m not sure why we were treated the way we were, since we were well mannered and kind, but me and my friends couldn’t stop assuming they were racist, since every customer that was Asian as well seemed to get way friendlier faces.
We came in and the waiter was instantly in a bad mood, didn’t even ask us for drinks. We ordered some Appetizers and the hot pot. Once the Appetizers came, it was all just dumped on the table, with no explanation on what’s what (food was cold as well). Dim sum was given to us still stacked. Sauces were in the back, which we were not told about.
Here is a dialogue which actually happened between me and the waiter when she brought the hotpot:
Waiter brings hotpot with ingredients.
Me: is there an order for putting in the ingredients?
Waiter: Yes
Waiter leaves.
It was almost confusing how bad the service was.
I highly suggest you go to another restaurant that offers hot pot, for instance Mama lius & sons, where the staff actually have social skills, but I honestly can’t imagine a restaurant having service worse than this place. Absolutely...
Read moreSimply the best hot pot Szechuan style since our travel to Chongqing 3 years ago. They offer an all you can eat for 25 euros (which is not a cheap Chinese diner) but it's quite rare to find a hot pot offer that is similar to what we can have in China or Taiwan. You need to be careful though, as they will charge a fee for the food that you don't finish. The service is friendly, but quite long, however the satisfaction was worth the wait. The diner was divided in 2 parts: first the small dishes (edamame, small dimsums, chicken bits, various type of Tofus, and then the hot pot itself : we went for the standard one: half spicy soup and non spicy. Sensitive taste buds like mine can go for the non spicy, and you can always "spice up" the taste of the food you cook, with some available sauces . The best drink to accompany hot pot is beer. They have several brands, and I personally went for kirin, a popular Japanese beer. Superb meal in the middle of Vienna, good...
