Read moreI honestly do not like the vibe of this restaurant. The moment you sit down on the table you are being fed with rules. I just took out my bottle to drink my water while waiting for the food that I ordered to arrive and the waitress started coming over and point on the sign. I know that they need to earn revenue for drinks and cakes but really? After a customer already ordered something?
We were asked if we wanted Vanilla Sauce but was not told that there is additional charges. Upon payment, we told the cashier that we are ok to pay for the vanilla sauce as a feedback but told her that the cost of the vanilla sauce is not stated anywhere in the menu and perhaps she should let the other customers know in future. Instead of apologising, the waitress raised her voiced and said that she already asked if we wanted (and thats the point, she didn't told us about the charges); and that she was being kind to us because by right we had to order a drink and food here but we only ordered 2 desserts. She claimed that it's Vienna's culture. I am shock beyond words. Having travelled to so many European countries and restaurants, this is the most ridiculous comment I have ever heard. Previous Google reviews with low ratings seems to have the same feedback about the waitress. Suggest that the owners look the way how she speaks to customers.
Strongly do not recommend
Edit: saw that there were multiple reviews of 1 star despite overall being 4.4 stars. But if you closely notice, many of the 5 stars only have 1 review (probably fake accounts to boost...
Read moreDO NOT GO. I’ve traveled to so many places, and I live in Italy—where, just like here, cafés are often located in incredibly beautiful spots—but never, and I mean NEVER, have I witnessed such rudeness and arrogance toward customers.
We sat down at a table, and while I was looking at the menu, I heard the waitress kick out two ladies just because they had only ordered a cappuccino while waiting for their friend to join them for lunch. That alone was enough to disgust me.
As I was still glancing at the menu, my partner went to the bathroom. I hadn’t even managed to open the menu properly when the waitress rudely asked me what I wanted to order right away—without giving me even a moment.
Meanwhile, my partner came back and told me they didn’t let him use the bathroom because we hadn’t ordered yet. Absolutely insane. We were seated and about to order—if only they had given us a few seconds. Denying a customer access to the bathroom is one of the rudest and saddest things I’ve ever seen in my life.
I’ve had coffee even at the Uffizi in Florence, for example, and no one ever dared to kick me out for ordering “only a coffee,” or to forbid me from using the bathroom. This behavior is disgraceful—for a café that isn’t even special, just lucky enough to be in a...
