We had a wonderful dining experience at Veranda Brasserie & Bar. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, with the rosemary potatoes and the bread accompanied by various dips being standout favorites. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and to my surprise, I even enjoyed the crispy skin — something I usually skip! The steak was also rich in flavor and perfectly prepared. The desserts were another highlight — not only were they delicious, but they were also beautifully presented, adding a touch of elegance to the meal. When I visit Vienna again, I’ll be happy to return to this restaurant!

Fantastic restaurant featuring modern takes on Austrian cuisine— all ingredients sourced locally— fresh and delicious. The restaurant is part or the Hotel Sans Souci, featuring a beautiful, understated but elegant interior. Menu is seasonal and the set menu is a relative bargain. This winter the chestnut soup is not to be missed. Delectable! The fried fig desert is also worth mentioning. Champagne and wine list was excellent. Impressive digestives offered- local and international. Service is excellent. All in all an exceptional experience. Will make this restaurant a Vienna regular.

This place is by far one of the best restaurants in Vienna. If you want to enjoy a service worth it of a Michelin star this is your place. Great atmosphere, quality decoration, impressive building and iconic location. The food is nice and I’m 100% sure these guys are going to improve every single day. The signature cocktails are a 11 out of 10. Can’t wait to pay a visit again. The people will only upload pictures of the dishes but I have to upload the bathroom faucet: insane

For it being on the Michelin guide, I expected service to be great. Not only was I not greeted when entering, no one introduced the menu to us or brought us the wine list. When i asked if there were any non-alcoholic options for wine except the one on the food menu, the waiter was confused about what I’m asking (but ok, maybe asking for non-alcoholic wine is weird). Then we ordered the appetizer plate but were brought the vegetarian version of it. We asked if that’s the meat version, the waiter said yes and gave us a card where both the meat and vegetarian version pictures were. We compared, understood that it’s not what we ordered and tried to flag down the waiter to change it. After a few minutes we managed to find someone and they changed it for us. We did not get anything for this mistake, just a sorry, but okay. We were constantly served by different waiters, and could see one of them counting money on the table next to us. Overall, the food was ok, but nothing exciting or exceptional. Maybe for dinner it is a better vibe, but our service and experience for a restaurant on Michelin guide was not great, not even good. If you’re not ready to serve people for lunch, you should be open...

My first meal here was fantastic, second meal not at all. The first time I ate here, every element was excellent. The homemade grasini that came with my soup was superb, my soup was superb and had pieces of asparagus in it.. my amuse buche had delicious fried capers in it. My lamb was super tender. A week later, they changed the dining room location (first night I believe) and it took an hour for the food to arrive. Yep, an hour. I ordered soup and several other courses. Instead of bringing the soup out an another appetizer, and then bringing more courses- they brought soup and shnitzel , and lamb and white asparagus, and veal all at once. I’ve never seen such a thing. Why would anyone serve like that. Dirty plates sat a while too.. waiting to be picked up. The grisini with the white asparagus soup the second time tasted old or boxed. Overall a very disappointing experience. The lamb was also overcooked with very dark fried pieces - so dry inside! I left those chunks on the plate. Bummer. Would not go again. Plus side is veal was super tender, but was cold by the time I got to it because they brought every single plate at the exact same time which is an absolutely...

We were there with my friends to celebrate our birthdays. The staff is very hospitable. Especially, Emran and Eduardo. The downside is the food! Tasteless hummus, saggy cabbage, extremly salted beetroot salad, a so called warm chestnut cream which was a gingerbread cookie at the end. Instead of homemade mayonnaise, they brought a small jar of Hellman's. This is supposed to be a fine dining place. We paid around 100 EUR per person for shameful food. Also, some of the staff is constantly on the phone taking orders or something and they are loud. Ruins the atmosphere. I must add that once we noted how bad the dessert was, they immediately offered something else for free and they removed it from the bill. We said we don't wanna experiment anymore and kindly denied the offer. The cook shall taste the food sometimes. Clearly strange how such food can leave the kitchen in a...
