Zur grünen Hütte — Restaurant in Vienna

Could have been a fantastic experience but tuned out quite lame. Firstly, they didn’t serve many things I wanted on the menu. Secondly, a waiter has poured drinks on me TWICE!! My hair, neck, back, legs and clothes were wet and sticky as an outcome. What I also didn’t find very service-oriented was when another waiter came towards me later telling me that it’s because of the place I was sitting (I had a corner seat) and he advised me to sit somewhere else next time.. - how rude. Regarding the food, there were a couple of choices and it was overall tasty looking. I ordered a salmon cream pasta, which was way too salty. Outstanding Austrian Experience!

Finding truly authentic Austrian food in Vienna can be tricky, but Żur Grunne Hate absolutely delivered! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

We opted for the classics and it was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The side dishes were delicious as well, especially the creamy potato salad and the tangy sauerkraut.

We finished the meal with a delightful slice of apple strudel, the perfect ending to a perfect meal. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for a taste of true Viennese cuisine.
