La Kükü — Restaurant in Baku City

Both my fiancée and I frequented this establishment a few times during our stay in Baku in Oct '24. The food here is first class and the table staff are polite, respectful, and will try to explain any uncertainty. If you are lucky, especially in the evening, there will be live entertainment in the outside eating area, adding to the ambience. PLACE - Amazing outdoor dining 5/5 FOOD - Mix grill taste average lamp chops below average 3/5 SERVICE - Waiters were there all the time maybe because we were the only customers in the restaurant but they were helpful. The reason I rated 2/5 Service is because the waiter who took our order was tricky by making us order a whole platter mixed grill and turns out HE multiply each grill as a single meal not a single meal with mix grill. Each grill was like 5 manat! Just to over charge us…..Total was 82 manat 2 persons chicken kabab meal meat kabab meal lamp chops meal meat grill meal … I would go back only if I would just to chill sit there and drink...

I had a walnut kuku for lunch and it was ridiculously delicious and filling (it was huge for one person).

The location is lovely in the park by the Philarmonic and very convenient as it's also right in front of the İçərişəhər Metro exit.

The décor is cozy and classy, in that overly cute-faux antique that Russians love (guess what their main clientele is).
