Updated Review below:
I had such high expectations for this place as a visitor from seeing others pics and posts but was thoroughly let down. First, we were met with and unwelcoming attitude by the lady at the front door and was told it would be a 30 minute wait. The wait was fine, as the restaurant is in Sandyport which is beautiful. We passed the time taking in the scenery. When we got our table, our order was taken immediately BUT it took about 25’minutes before we had to ask another waiter (we never saw our waiter again) for water. We also ordered an appetizer that came out after our food. The food was actually pretty good. We had the Cubano and the roast beef sandwhich. However they got my side order wrong. We really wanted the crab dip but it came out after we were almost done with our sandwhichs. At that point we just wanted to leave. This place is beautiful and has so much potential but unfortunately this can not make up for poor service.
UPDATE: I returned to Mi & B’s a few days later for lunch. Now having went twice I can say that the first time experience was a combination of the restaurant being busy & younger/less trained staff. This time around, there was no wait at all (Thursday vs. a Saturday). The service was friendly, quick and efficient. The drinks are AMAZING!! I had 2 of the Lychee hibiscus drinks and my bf had the cosmo and the strawberry Margarita (pictured). For lunch this time I had the Mahi Mahi Tacos and my bf had the Shrimp pesto Caesar salad. We also had the crab dip before all that. It was so much food that we took food to go so the price point is well worth it. All of the ingredients were fresh and well seasoned. I would definitely come back for dinner next time and recommend others to try. Maybe try to avoid busier days but I can see why they are...
Read moreI found this gem on IG when looking for a Saturday brunch spot. My only regret is that I did not take pictures of all the food. I will definitely be back to give a better review.
For my first time, I must say I was pleasantly surprised.
Tucked in the corner of Sandyport, to the right of the post office, is where you would find this place. It boasts both outdoor and indoor seating. The view of the water is amazing, I highly recommend sitting outside if the weather is nice.
The service was pretty good. Didn't feel rushed at all.
I ordered the breakfast sandwich on a bagel. Along with the goat cheese and honey spread. Caution yourself with the goat cheese order as it is more than enough to share between 3 or 4 persons. The sandwich was pretty good. I wished it was bigger, but how much can adequately be placed on a bagel before it becomes too much.
Their drink had just the right amount of alcohol for the mimosas. I won't say/show how much I ended up drinking. However, I did start off with an espresso to balance out the alcohol.
I look forward to eating here again so that I can show more pictures and give a secondary experience. Especially with the crab dip, apparently it's a...
Read moreMi & B’s is hands down one of my favorite go-to lunch spots in Nassau. As a local, I find myself choosing it again and again — and for good reason. Their pasta salad is - in my opinion - the best on the island. It’s flavorful, fresh, and perfectly chilled, with just the right mix of creaminess and herbs. While it doesn’t always taste exactly the same (some days it’s a bit creamier or has more garlic), it’s still absolutely delicious and worth coming back for every time.
Another standout is the Mi & B’s House Salad — fresh, hearty, and packed with flavor. Their sandwiches and wraps are also quite large, making them great to split with a friend. Plus, their drink options are fun and refreshing, making the full meal feel like a treat.
The staff are always kind, helpful, and happy to accommodate — which makes the experience even better. While I’ve only ever been for lunch and prices can be on the higher side, the quality of the food and the cozy, consistent vibes make it well worth it.
As a local, I take guests here every single time and recommend Mi & B’s to anyone I meet. It’s one of those places that just never disappoints — a true staple for fresh, flavorful...
