Nestled in the vibrant Seef District , Leila Min Lebnan transports you straight to the heart of Beirut with its charming, rustic decor and warm, inviting atmosphere. The blend of traditional Lebanese elements, the “homey” soft touch sets the perfect tone for a cozy and authentic dining experience. The soft strains of Fairouz playing in the background further enhances the experience, making it an ideal spot for both intimate dinners and family gatherings. Leila Min Lebnan offers a rich selection of Lebanese classics, each dish thoughtfully crafted to showcase the vibrant flavors of the Levant. I began my culinary journey with their complimentary bread basket and fresh Lebanese green and black olives. The basket had crispy and soft pita bread and rolls made from zaatar and olive oil. I then ordered Hummus bil lahme, Moutabal, al rahib salad, warm cheese rolls and Waraq Enab (stuffed grape leaves). The hummus was smooth and creamy, with a perfect balance of garlic and lemon, while the salad was fresh, zesty, and generously packed. The wara enab was very zesty and perfectly melts in your mouth. Finally, the cheese rolls were just the right touch of saltiness with a hint of mint.
For the main course, I chose the Mixed Grill, which featured a tantalizing assortment of grilled meats, including tender lamb kofta, succulent chicken taouk, and juicy beef and chicken kebabs. The meats were perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, retaining their moisture and flavor. The accompanying garlic sauce provided a delightful contrast, adding a burst of flavor to every bite. I also ordered the lahme b ajeen (meat pies), which was generously packed with the perfect amount of meat loaded on a soft/crispy pie. For drinks, they have a variety of fresh juices and soft drinks, I chose pomegranate juice which freshly squeezed.
The service at Leila Min Lebnan was exceptional. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to provide recommendations. They were more than happy to accommodate special requests and ensured that every aspect of the dining experience was enjoyable. The food was served promptly, and the portions were generous, offering great value for money.
Leila Min Lebnan offers a mid-range dining experience in terms of pricing, which is well justified given the quality of the food, service, and overall experience. Expect to pay around BHD 15-25 per person, depending on your choice of dishes and beverages.
I was offered a balanced sweet dessert of rice pudding ending it with a hot mug of mint tea, with my sheeshah.

Read moreYesterday, I had the pleasure trying Leila Min Lebanon restaurant in Bahrain, for the first time. My husband and I loved the experience from the moment we walked in. It’s not everyday you fine authentic food of a country or region cooked so delicious, outside their own countries. As a rule of thumb we try different appetizers and if the main course is big enough for two people, we order one to leave room for dessert. But that was not he case here, there were too many options to choose from and all looked amazingly delicious, we came to find that this restaurant is true to their word, the food was as delicious as it looked in the pictures. I also loved they had actual menus and not a bar code to scan 😏. The sheesah was amazing, we shared rice pudding with the most aromatic mint tea served in mugs that made me fee at home ♥️. Mind you, I don’t care much for food that has a strong milky taste, but this rice pudding was sooooooo delicious, I wish I wasn’t so full 🤭. To end this long post, I totally recommend this restaurant, you will not regret it, but go very very hungry, because you’ll eat a lot and wish you had...
Read moreWe went for lunch on a Thursday. The place has two levels and serves Shisha in the indoor groud level. The Shisha smelled soo good but couldnt order one because I was in a rush. We ordered mixed pastries but they did not taste that authentic and lacked the flavor. They even came very dry without any dip. The Kebbe was stuphed with almost only onion and no meat (See picture). I asked for Tahini sauce, since its a Lebanese restaurant, but was extremely disappointed with it. It tasted like yogurt that is mixed with a drop of Tahini sauce. The meals we ordered were Cabob plate and Auzi. The cabob was very tasty and delicious and that is why the three stars. However, the auzi was very plain and did not have any nuts mixed with the rice. A bite of meat was added on top of the Auzi ball which was very little. Overall, go only for the Kafta Cabob and expect to spend a lot for the quantity. I recommend the owner to work more on the food presentation and spend more on the quantity...
