Disappointing Experience at Mr. Manik Burger Shop in Uttara

Recently visited Mr. Manik Burger Shop in Uttara with high expectations after hearing about their reputed burgers. Unfortunately, my experience fell far below the average mark. My friends and I opted for the BBQ Chicken Cheese burger, accompanied by potato wedges and coleslaw.

The anticipation built from hearing positive reviews quickly turned to disappointment upon tasting the food. The burger, which we had hoped would be a delight, was lacking in flavor and overall quality. The BBQ chicken seemed bland, and the cheese failed to add the expected richness.

The sides, including the potato wedges and coleslaw, also failed to impress. The wedges were mediocre at best, lacking the crispness and seasoning that would have elevated the dish. The coleslaw lacked freshness and tasted as if it had been prepared much earlier, leaving us unsatisfied.

In comparison to popular dining spots like Chillox, Mr. Manik Burger Shop did not meet our expectations. For anyone accustomed to the high standards set by Chillox, I would recommend avoiding Mr. Manik. The experience was a letdown, especially considering the initial positive buzz we had heard about the place. Hopefully, the establishment takes these criticisms constructively and strives to improve the quality of their offerings...

Multi-room sitting space mostly occupied with school and college going kids and the ambience was too loud for me.

They have a wide variety of foods but there are no beef options for burgers. We ordered BBBQ chicken and Chicken Cheese burger. The service is slow.

Service was little slow, and different burgers were not marked. So we could only find which is which only after opening wrap.

The food looked great by the way. Interestingly, though very different, both the burgers tasted the same. It could be caused by the fact that both the burgers had exactly the same chicken slice (cooked the same) and the BBQ one had a little drops of bbq sauce. Or, probably because of the overflowing curry like assortment of sauces and mayo that is trending in most places. Makes the whole thing a mess of bread with sweet chicken gravy-curry instead of being a burger. I found no difference in taste from the average roadside burger carts.

Considering the price, the environment, service and taste it was not...

I have been eating foods and also taking parcel from Mr Manik for like 3 years. In these 3 years I didn't had any issues with the food quality or amount but today I was disappointed. Because today I ordered 2 BBQ chicken nachos which costs Tk 235 each, I can't check the amount of nachos while taking it from them so as usual I took it home and I found it disappointing that the amount of nachos wasn't the same like before as they changed the box. I hope they fix it.

Maybe I am wrong but the amount of nachos I used get from 235Tk wasn't the same.

I don't have any problem with with their food quality, environment, cleanliness and other things. Because they are awesome and mind blowing in that aspect.

The most amazing part is that how they treat each customers. Their behavior is so warm and kind you wouldn't feel like you are eating in an restaurant. It will feel like you are eating in your close...
