While the place itself was really nice, the service was quite sloppy, and the manager was incredibly inconsiderate. My wife and I went for a date on one of our special days. Since the inside area was full, we chose to sit outside. We had our eyes on a corner seat for two inside, which was occupied by another couple when we entered. When they paid their bill and left, I was about to sit down when the manager approached, asking us to make room for a foreign family of three.

When I explained that we had been waiting for the two-seater, he insisted it was a three-seater, counting a small tool as a seat. Even the server and the foreigner gentleman offered to give up the seat for us, but the manager went overboard, pushing me aside and ushering in the foreign family who had already taken another table.

I understand the importance of promoting Bangladeshi culture, but it felt like they hardly cared about Bangladeshi patrons and were eager to accommodate foreigners. I had observed the staff prioritizing 'white skins' over Bangladeshi patrons before, but I never expected to experience it myself. I understand that some of us have yet to overcome the colonial mentality, and still, whenever we see foreigners, we tend to go overboard. Honestly, it was a special day for us; otherwise, I must have confronted the situation because bootlickers need to be taught a lesson.

So, what did I do? I wanted but decided not to cancel the food (though we didn't order any additional items as planned). Instead, we took the food, sat outside, finished the food somehow, and quickly left the place. I have no intention of returning to such an inconsiderate...

Today, I visited this place and had a pleasant overall experience. I ordered paratha, chicken, and soup. The food quality was good , everything was served fresh and hot. The paratha was soft and had just the right amount of crispness. The soup was warm and flavorful, making it a perfect start to the meal. However, I found the chicken to be a bit too salty. While the meat was cooked well and tender, the saltiness slightly overpowered the other flavors. Still, it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of the food.

What really stood out to me was the service. The staff at this place were polite, friendly, and very attentive. They made sure I was comfortable and taken care of, and their positive attitude added a lot to the experience. Good service can make a big difference, and here it definitely did.
