Recently, I visited soi7 to try their beef jhuri and butter naan, and I must say, it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I walked in, the warm ambiance and inviting aroma of freshly cooked food set the perfect tone for the meal.
Ambiance & Service:
The restaurant had a cozy and comfortable setting, making it ideal for a relaxed dining experience. The staff was polite and attentive, ensuring that the food was served fresh and hot. The seating arrangement was spacious, and the lighting was just right—not too dim, not too bright. While the service was generally good, there was a slight wait for the food, but it was understandable given the quality and freshness.
The Food: Beef Jhuri & Butter Naan
Now, coming to the main part—the food.
Beef Jhuri: This dish was truly the star of the evening. The beef was tender and perfectly shredded, giving it the signature "jhuri" (crispy and flaky) texture. It was well-spiced, with just the right balance of heat and aromatic flavors. The blend of slow-cooked beef with onions, green chilies, and special spices created a deep, rich taste. Each bite had a smoky undertone, which enhanced the overall experience.
Butter Naan: The naan was soft, warm, and fluffy, with a slight crisp on the outside. The generous spread of butter gave it a rich taste that paired wonderfully with the beef jhuri. Unlike some places where the naan becomes chewy after cooling down, this one remained soft throughout the meal.
Together, the beef jhuri and butter naan made for an indulgent combination. The richness of the butter naan balanced the spiced and crispy beef beautifully, making every bite satisfying.
Pricing & Value for Money:
The pricing was reasonable considering the portion size and quality. While it wasn’t the cheapest option, the flavors and portion made it worth every penny.
Overall Verdict:
If you're a fan of tender, flavorful beef with soft buttery naan, this place is definitely worth a visit. The authentic taste, well-balanced spices, and warm ambiance make it a great spot for both casual and special outings. While the service could be slightly faster, the quality of food makes up for it.

Read moreWe went to have a family dinner unfortunately we were very disappointed. Poor Service, the waiters seemed too tired to serve , dropping things here and there, keeping plates making terrible noise, didn't want to follow the request to turn off the aircon, trying to take away the appetiser bowls with food in it because they wanted to serve the main course and also the glasses which I kept aside to drink water - as if they were in hurry to get out of there 😢 ... and when we went to wash hands after having the food, it looked very spooky as they turned off most of the lights and the rooms looked shabby and old.. the food were spicy and we couldn't finish them , so we had to bring it back home . They didn't inform us that those dishes were spicy , generally, they are not spicy in other restaurants . Overall, our dinner experience was unsatisfied. Hope the management sees the post and fixes the loop wholes . They need to give training to the waiters as well as the people at the...
