Ā Ā Ā Read moreCourtyard has been one of my favorite go to place for a very long time. Primarily because it is near from my home and 2nd, in love with their food and ambiance. Went there many times, this time I tried Tom Yum Chicken Dim Sum, Mexican beef rice bowl, cookies and cream frappe and oreo cheesecake. The Dim Sum were average. I feel chicken Dim Sum is like Momo like the street food Momo one. But comparing to Dim Sum, I like Momo better always.
The Mexican rice bowl were so so. I felt the sauce they added over the beef weren't complimenting the taste of the beef. Rather it felt like I was only tasting the sauce and not the beef when ate them together. It would be better in my opinion, if they would add sunny side up, with this rice bowl too, instead of the sauce like other rice bowls. The flavor of the rice was good and the amount seemed plenty for one person.
The frappe was good and didn't expected much to be honest. I mean how much good can a chocolate milkshake be? š
The oreo cheesecake was heavenly. They served it in a unique way. At first it felt like the amount was a bit less, but when started eating had a really hard time finishing it.
N. B. This time my choice of menu wasn't that good I think. Previously, I ordered different menu items and liked those even better, that's why giving 5 star. Shouldn't judge completely on one visit as I had better experience. But I'm not sure, if this is because choosing different menu items or their cooking is not good as before? Will visit again and definitely find out. I mean, even if the food is not good, I won't mind spending some quality time in their nicely decorated ambiance.
DAY 2 this time we ordered 5 spice grilled chicken and crispy Tom Yum Chicken.
Crispy chicken was good, the rice and chicken tasted nice.
But the 5 spice grilled chicken didn't feel good at all. The rice seemed weird for me and also the chicken was too much cooked for grilling that the grilled outer layer could be tasted which was a little burnt and bitter. When we asked about it, they said it's how they cook it and not overcooked or anything. Also the rice seemed a bit off and didn't tasted...

Food review: Mexican chicken rice bowl (4/5) I am not happy with the amount. Cubed raw tomato brings down the overall taste. But the chicken is soft and delicious, and the rice is excellent.
Grilled Greek chicken (3/5) The flavour of chicken is terrible. It's very nontraditional and flavourless to me. It comes with two sides, for which I took rosemary potatoes and rice. The sides were good, but the chicken was not worth it.
Blueberry cheesecake (5/5) The cheesecake was the star of the show. I loved the texture of blueberry and cheese, which was perfectly blended. However, the last layer is not that fulfilling, but if you take all three layers together, it tastes excellent.
Environment review: The environment is excellent and cosy. A smoking zone is available, too. But, I had a terrible time due to the presence of some elderly persons who were making way too much noise alone compared to the rest of the people present!
Staff review: There was nothing to complain about; they were professional and very friendly.
Price: My total payment was added up to 1845 with a bottle of water! No, it's not worth the taste and amount they provide. Of course, I can not try all the items, but after ordering their top & most popular dishes, I think I can say this much.
Parking: When I called the restaurant, they told me the parking was available. After reaching there, I asked the guards to park my bike, and they refused, to say that the parking was full of bikes and some other excuses! It doesnāt look like they (guards) are interested in helping the park to "Restaurant" visitors as the building is a business place. Hence, I had to park on...
