Hotel Lake View Plaza — Hotel in Dhaka Metropolitan

This hotel is easy to find out if you come from Banani side through Road number 11 and cross the bridge to turn left, you’ll find it. If you come from Gulshan side, it may be hard to locate and someone may confuse it with a more well known ' Hotek Lakeshore'.

The building is not entirety built for a hotel rather you can assume it is a residential apartment building. Staff are not too professional but I won't say bad either. The rooms are upto the mark for its rate of rents. Otherwise you may not feel very cozy and comfortable. Mosquitoes from the lake next to the hotel are the biggest challenge here and you may find a good pass time by driving them away even during sleep.

Yes, Dhaka has a few very expensive and very high quality hotels, but if it's too high above your pay-grade and you'd still like to stay at a nice, clean hotel in the citycentre, Hotel Lake View Plaza is a good suggestion. ||||I stayed there for almost three weeks and I was satisfied. The beds are quite hard, but that is a standard in Bangladesh, and the rooms are very big, with ok bathrooms. I spent a week at this place. The 1st room that they gave me had a rock hard bed. When I complained they immediately gave me another room. The rooms are very basic and maintenance could have been better but in any case is better than some others I have been to in Dhaka. The restaurant has a limited menu but enough to keep you nourished. If you are a vegetarian then be prepared for a tough time.
