ARTIGIANO — Restaurant in Antwerp

Rude service and scarcely topped pizzas. Our pizza napoli had 2 tiny pieces of anchovi on it. Both pizzas barely had any cheese on them. Moreover, the menu was half as big as advertised online. The waitress had no idea why. You can get a better pizza at domino’s.

Service was abysmal to put it mildly. They got one of our pizzas wrong which meant that we had to eat separately. They also brought out a bottle of sparkling water which we didn’t order. When we tried to tell them we were not happy they just walked away, they never apologised for any mistakes. When we received our bottle of wine, they didn’t even let us taste it before rudely dumping our glasses full and rushing off without saying a word.

When looking over the check, they had charged us for the bottle of sparkling water which we did not consume. They also charged us for 2 glasses of prosecco which we also never ordered nor consumed. Luckily they corrected this mistake.

Literally the worst experience ever, totally ruined...

Ik reageer even op de laatste review aangezien we wederom een enorme brutale reactie krijgen waar we totaal niet van gediend zijn.

Jammer genoeg kregen wij een hoofdgerecht wat koud en niet gaar was. Normaliter krijg je daar een normale reactie op en serveert men een nieuw gerecht. Bij dit restaurant niet, sterker nog: terwijl ik met de kok probeerde te praten om een oplossing te zoeken zei hij doodleuk: ik wil niet meer voor jullie koken. Waarbij mijn reactie was: dan betaal ik ook geen drankjes. We hadden namelijk voor het dinner al betaald via social deal, maar dus geen hoofdmaaltijd gekregen. De reactie van de eerdere review klopt niet, we hadden dus al BETAALD. Best wel vervelend als je dan een aantal onbeschofte mensen te spreken krijgt die totaal niet klantgericht zijn en daarnaast ook nog eens hondsbrutaal zijn om dan de politie te willen bellen (!) Dat was trouwens beter geweest, dan had ik even kunnen uitleggen hoe deze mensen te werk gaan.

Wij gaan vaker uit eten maar nog nooit maar dan ook nog nooit hebben we zoiets teleurstellends meegemaakt. Nog niet eens eens dat het eten koud was, want dat kan altijd eens gebeuren, maar vooral de asociale reactie...

Location is one of the best in the city, in the middle of Eilandje in a very elegant neighbourhood. The ambience is cozy, elegant and comfy. The variety of the menu gives the possibility to have a business lunch or a dinner with friend, but as well very good for family and kids. Restaurant and pizzeria at his best! Service was goog.
