How about this for a change, a restaurant with a vibe much like a tapas place. Not so much in Spanish dishes, rather in their take on how to spend your evening. At Café Camion you'll find a sweet selection of wines, beers and the likes. After making your choice (or having one selected for you) , somehow food will arrive. It's hard to keep track of what you ordered, but prices are very affordable -and since everything gets to you quick and is made for sharing- nothing stops you from making continuous orders! My visit to Camion in Antwerp was unfortunately just average. The food was okay but certainly nothing exceptional, and at this price point, it felt like poor value for money. There are definitely nicer places in Antwerp, even more expensive ones, that offer a better experience. What made the meal uncomfortable was the cold draft. The restaurant kept the front door open, and when I asked for it to be closed, it was left with a significant gap due to door stoppers, allowing the cold air to persist. I simply don't understand the hype around...

While you have the "fancy hipster vegan/healthy/eco eateries of the south", which used to be cosy and home-like. But now they're either copied, moved, flooded with hipsters have lost this feeling and quality.

Here you still have this authentic passionate vibe. The food is excellent. Service is great. Everyone is friendly and accomodating. I just regret not discovering this...
