Zaowang Zuid — Restaurant in Antwerp

I were coming often to this place as I love their food and was amazed by the service every my visit. But unfortunately today, we got horrible experience and I don’t think I want to come to Zaowang ever if same service guy would be working. I was with my friend and my twins babies (as always), we had lunch at 14:00, so all the time we were only 1 table there, we also were sitting on a back to not disturb no one as there is quite private. My children were all the time in a stroller and they sometimes were screaming, not crying but from exitment, we were talking with my friend and there were quite loud music (as always, it’s normal). And in one moment the service guy (I see him there first time, didn’t see his name, with a big tattoo on his hand) coming to us and telling us “can you be less noisy, we was shocked and asked again as hoped that we understood it wrong, but he repeated it and showed on children. We were really shocked from this comment, firstly how he expecting us to shut up 15m old babies (they were not crying,it’s already good), secondly we were only clients in the restaurant at that moment, so definitely we were disturbing only him and in the end his meneer and how he told it was absolutely not mannerd. And when I came to pay, he asked me “are you satisfied with everything?” I told no, as service was horrible, I told that always was amazed by service there and recommended this place always for everyone, but will not do it anymore on what he answered “good for you” and then I told that will leave review and he told me “yes, do it”. I were studied 5 years hospitality in Uni and worked 6 years on restaurants as a service by myself and there no exceptions when you can tell these and behave with clients this way. I was not lazy to write all this review only because I hope that the owner of this place will put attention on it and will take measures according this worker that he could not ruin their business. Because it is unknown how many more loyal customers he will turn away from...

Just had an amazing experience at Zaowang with my girlfriend. The restaurant offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a date.
