De Zwaan — Restaurant in Antwerp

Ordered a burger. Usually I ask it the burger has pickles and ask without but as it wasn’t on the menu I decided not to ask thinking it was okay. The burger came with pickles and it really makes the burger taste bad if you don’t like it. They then ask if they can make a new one. We say yes but of course everybody was already eating / almost finished. We asked for the burger to be takeaway and he said it’s not really possible. I understood and continued to wait. Then the waiter showed up with the burger and the fries in a takeaway box sealed. i got home and opened it to finding new pickles put on the burger 😭. Felt disrespected hope it was a mistake. Best bar in Antwerp. The prices are really democratic. It's only 2 euro for a strong beer and 1.80 for a normal Stella Artois. They offer a lot of traditional Belgian beers like Gulden Draak and Tripel d'Anvers. There are cocktails too and even the coffee is great. The bartender Luc is a wonderful and friendly men who knows Antwerp like his own backyard. He always makes people smile. Last but not least is the location. It's close to the Hendrik Consiencelibrary and Bartolomeuschurch. It's also close to the Groenplaats and Meir.
