Delice — Restaurant in Antwerp

There is some kind of an issue every time I try to buy bread from them. Couple of times there was no bread to buy, even though it was like 12:30 and they are open till 14:00. I understand they mostly sell sandwiches, but there is also fresh bread on the shelves for sale. So it should be available at a reasonable time of day. Nevermind, so they told me I should come before 11 or make a reservation if I want fresh bread from them. I said ok, I'll try this next. But guess what, today they decided to be closed during the opening hours. I came at 10:30 and was told that they are closed for an hour, because they are too busy. End of story, never again. The least reliable...

Om te beginnen, de service: voor 10u voor minimum 10eur besteld en gratis geleverd in de wijde omgeving. Zo kan je makkelijk een korte lunchpauze op kantoor houden met een paar collega's, zonder dat tijd moet verspillen om nog ergens wat te gaan halen. Als je ergens naartoe moet en daar nog eens moet aanschuiven, ben je snel veel tijd kwijt.

De keuze aan broodbeleg is heel groot. Zeker voor ieder wat wils. De broodjes zijn rijkelijk belegd en lekker, maar hadden (voor mij iig) wel licht krokanter mogen zijn. Een paar extra "dessert-keuzes" van de bakkerij (gebakjes/koffiekoeken/...) zouden zeker ook...
