Foodmaker Meir — Restaurant in Antwerp

Place is nice and spacious and looks great, food looks good but only had a drink. On the downside the techno music a bit loud and seems unsuited to the kind of tropical zen like atmosphere they're trying to create for the place, and its a pity that the toilets seem a bit grubby / have messy floors and that they haven't even got around to putting male / female signs on the doors yet, even though they've been open a month ! How hard is this ? Went back a month later, they still haven't put the toilet sign on the wall, it's still lying on the ground. That's just lazy !! Update on the place in April 2019. Staff more cheerful now, sign put up for toilet. They should provide white as well as brown sugar. You don't put brown sugar in tea !!! 😨 And both the sugar container and the milk bottles look pretty unhygienic to me, why not give individual portions of each like...

Very fresh, tasty food for a relatively cheap price!

Foodmaker, a partnership of Delhaize is offering a huge variety of sandwiches, wraps, salads, warm food and desserts. All food is noticeably fresh and rich of taste. A lot of biological, vegetarian and vegan food available as well.

We took a pot of 600 grams which you can fill with warm food such as pasta, chili con carne, potato mash for 8 euros. Also took a vegan wrap and a lentils soup along with a very delicious baguette. All was incredibly good and for 18 euros we were both very full.

Decoration is very beautiful and green, and makes it a perfect working space as well. They also have free wifi! Not so much noise and music is on a perfect level.

Foodmaker should have more chains all around the city! Way...

They have really good options for gluten free and vegan people (unfortunately not many dishes that are both gluten free AND vegan, and there's a lot more vegan that there is gf). It's not the cheapest either, but especially with the pre-made dishes you just about get your money's worth. The building is beautiful inside though, really nicely decorated and great seating, and they have good customer service (which can be hard to find in Belgium sometimes!). Over all a really good place to eat, especially if you have any dietary requirements. Also the layout and vibe is great for working/studying,...
