Lucy Chang -was- instrumental in getting Belgians to appreciate Asian food, so it does command respect for being the trailblazer it once was.

However, Lucy Chang is not the best Asian food you can get anymore. As a hybrid restaurant that serves a 'pick-and-mix' of Asian dishes, every kitchen they picked something from is represented by a better restaurant specializing in solely that cuisine, even in a smaller city such as Antwerp.

Where Lucy Chang does shine nowadays is the Chang Family Deals, a system in which the chain offers you a free 2nd meal or a free cocktail once every month. This suddenly makes it a very interesting location to visit with a friend and introduce them to Asian cuisine in a more approachable way at a lower price point.

The second advantage is that considering Lucy Chang is a chain, it means that whether you go to this one or the one in Wilrijk, the experience is the same. You'll always be assured of decent food with helpful (but not overly cheery) staff, which often is all you want out of a place to eat anyway.
