McDonald's — Restaurant in Antwerp

One of the 4 McDonald’s in Antwerp city is the one on the Meir. It is also the biggest of the four. McDonald’s is a fast food restaurant that serves food for different target groups.

I had ordered two ice cream cones, and one of them was already cracked. One fell down from my son’s hand because of that. When I politely requested a replacement, the staff member very rudely refused and said that they don’t make it at home, and I should take it as it is. I don’t believe this reflects Belgian standards of service. I have never had such a negative experience with any other employee at McDonald’s, who are usually very kind and professional. Because of this repeated behavior from the same person, I feel very uncomfortable going back to this branch. I sincerely hope management will look into this matter and ensure respectful service for all customers...

I have been in McDonald’s all around the world and not a single time I had to pay separately to use the bathroom if I bout a meal, but here apparently it costs additional money. An older woman collecting that money at the toilet entrance was extremely rude for absolutely no reason. When I confronted her another customer near by joined in, so she wasn’t only rude to me. This whole situation is absolutely ridiculous and I’m not going to be visiting this place...
