I stumbled upon this Italian restaurant while walking through one of Antwerp's famous shopping streets parallel to the Meir. Honestly, you wouldn't expect to find a restaurant here — from the outside, it looks more like a stylish design bar than a typical Italian eatery.
Once inside, I was immediately impressed by the interior: modern, artistic, and far from the usual Italian clichés. The large murals and warm lighting create a very unique atmosphere. When we arrived around noon, the restaurant was still quiet, with soft background music and dimmed lights. We ordered coffee and sat on a very comfortable sofa for two, with a great view of the bar.
The menu surprised me with its gluten-free options — even gluten-free pizza. For a gluten-free pizza, it was definitely good and enjoyable. As we were eating, the place slowly filled up, the music got louder, and spotlights above our table were turned on, which changed the calm vibe a bit.
Service was mixed: the lady at the bar was friendly, but overall the service could have been more attentive. A bit of a shame, as everything else was quite pleasant.
Overall, a nice spot if you're looking for something different in Antwerp, especially if you appreciate great interior design and modern vibes with...
Read moreOverall it was an amazing experience, the food was amazing and flavourful, however it does take quite a while for it to arrive. My friend and I came here twice, once for a late lunch and the second time for dinner (back to back). The first time the service was amazing, she was very friendly and kept checking up on us incase we were unsatisfied or wanted to order something else. Sadly the second time we went we were greeted in a manner where it felt like we weren’t wanted. We came in without a reservation (in which I understand if they were hesitant to not give us a table due to that, however the restaurant was only half full during the whole duration of our dinner). Secondly it took us quite a while to order, the waiter forgot my dessert order and never checked up on us incase we did want to order (after I did order). When I addressed the missing dessert after 30 minutes he said he forgot and apologised which is nice but it wouldn’t have hurt him if he checked up on us incase we wanted something else. However I do feel that the waiter could have still brought the dessert instead of coming with the bill. I do think this was just a one off experience and do still recommend this place and will for sure come back when I visit...

First visit – mixed experience
Went here for the first time with a reserved table. Unfortunately, we were seated right at the entrance, where it was uncomfortably cold due to the air conditioning. At 1.90m tall, I was given a table that was far too small — our two plates barely fit.
While heading to the restroom, we noticed much better and more spacious tables inside, which were mostly unoccupied. It seems the staff deliberately seats guests near the entrance to make the place look busy from the outside — not exactly a customer-friendly approach.
Another downside: the staff only speaks English. While that might be acceptable in a city like Antwerp, you'd expect at least some basic Dutch and French. It’s manageable for me, but my parents wouldn’t be able to eat here because of that. Definitely a letdown.
On the positive side: the interior is beautiful — stylish, cozy, and almost hotel-like. Service was friendly and attentive. We had pizza, which was light and tasty, though the knives were blunt, making it hard to cut properly.
In conclusion: great decor and decent service, but there are serious issues with how customers are welcomed and seated. The hostess, in particular, seemed to lack any sense of guest comfort — seating people in the cold just for appearances is unacceptable. She gets a...
