Señor Taco — Restaurant in Antwerp

Hunger hit me and I was deciding on where to go. This place stuck out to me, so I was hoping for a good experience.

My significant other and I walked inside and there was a nice aroma right away. I looked at the menu to see what they had to offer and then we went to the counter to order.

The Taco’s (Soft & Crispy) section was a Soft Tortilla Or Taco Shell Filled With Fresh Iceberg Lettuce, Tomato, Corn, Onion, Kidney Beans, Grated Cheese Mix and Sauce Of Your Choice. I got a Taco Clasico, which was With Minced Meat for 3,95. I chose Soft Tortilla and from the Sauces, I chose Salsa Saus. From the Senor Burgers section, I went with a Senor Burger for 7,95. It was Sesame Bread With Large Burger Of 100% Beef With Tomatoes, Iceberg Lettuce, Onion Rings, Jalapenos, Guacamole And Salsa Sauce. From the Specialities section, we got the Nacho’s Cheddar Cheese for 5,95. It was Tortilla Chips With Double Layer Of Melted Cheddar Cheese, Jalapenos And Onion. The Senor Gigante section was a Grilled XL Tortilla Filled With Spiced Rice, Kidney Beans, Freshly Made Pica De Gallo And Grated Cheese Mix. We got the Gigante Chicken, which was With Tender Chicken Fillet And Sour Cream for 8,45.

We sat at a table on the main floor. We noticed there was seating upstairs, so we sat at a table up there and waited for the food. The vibe was cozy up there.

We were brought our food. The Taco Clasico was a good size and it was packed with flavor. I enjoyed it. The Senor Burger was an alright size for the price and also packed with flavor. The Nacho’s were tasty. The Gigante Chicken was fantastic. It was my favorite item.

The service was good. I didn’t have any issues.

Overall, this place was better than I imagined it would be. I would probably go again if I’m ever in the area.

I had a terrible experience at Señor Taco / Taco Factory. The staff was incredibly rude and unfriendly, and they didn't even want to take my order at first. When they finally did, they shouted it out with high voices, making me feel like I was in the middle of a fight. The food preparation seemed aggressive, as if they were ready to battle with the ingredients. To top it off, they didn't even take care of the prepared food properly.

The worst part was that I didn't feel safe dining in because all the staff members seemed to dislike us and gave off an aggressive vibe. The tacos were a major disappointment – not fresh, bland in taste, poorly cooked and lacking proper seasoning. Considering the quality, the prices were exorbitantly high.

The only positive aspects were the atmosphere and furniture, which were pleasant. However, that doesn't make up for the terrible service, subpar food, and unwelcoming staff. I would definitely not recommend Señor Taco / Taco...

Ik ben hier op vakantie in Antwerpen en had zin in Mexicaans. Taco factory klinkt leuk dus ik dacht ik ga daar lekker eens een paar original taco schelpen bestellen. Je had keuze tussen meerdere smaken en sausjes. Ook kon je kiezen of je het soft of crispy wilde hebben. Nou prima dat allemaal geselecteerd en gevraagd of het om 18:45 geleverd kon worden. Om 19u had ik nogsteeds niks bezorgd gekregen. Na een belletje gepleegd te hebben gaven ze aan dat ze onderweg waren. Echter pas veel later werd er aangebeld. Wij zaten in een appartement op de 2e verdieping. Echter bleef de bezorger gewoon beneden buiten staan, zelfs nadat we door de intercom hadden gezegd dat de deur open was en hij door kon lopen. Eenmaal aan tafel alles uitgepakt. Zaten alle taco’s door elkaar heen apart verpakt apart in folie. (We hadden voor 2 personen 4 taco’s per persoon). Per taco was het zeer onduidelijk wie welke had aangezien het simpelweg gewoon niet te lezen was welke smaak t was. Het kwam er op neer dat je alles zelf moest uitvogelen. Alles leek op elkaar, er zat super veel kaas en mais en bonen op. De taco’s zelf waren allemaal soft er zat niks crispys aan. Nu kan dat natuurlijk te maken hebben met dat het lang duurde voordat onze bestelling er was, maar geef dan niet aan dat je een keuze heb tussen crispy en soft als je dit toch niet kan waarmaken. Over de kwaliteit van de taco’s zelf ben ik dus erg ontevreden. Niet taco waardig. Ik zou hier niet nog een...
