My wife and I recently visited Kosmopoliet for an evening dinner. The restaurant itself is very well designed, the layout works nicely, and the touch of soft lighting and art creates a very enviable atmosphere. Credit to the owners for creating a plant-based restaurant that actually looks welcoming and homely. The prices are very reasonable and the selection of wine and cocktails is as good as the beers. We were well looked after by Magno and Sara, who often came to see if we wanted anything else and were a pleasure to talk to. The food is generally quite tasty and definitely filling: the flat bread with olive tapenade and soft cheeze', and the summer rolls were a delight. I would definitely visit here again when i'm back in Bruges, which is also one beautiful place to have a long spring / summer weekend.

   Read moreTerrible service, staff is extremely uncooperative. Food was okay, maybe a bit too salty, but they insisted we sit at a particular small table even though the place was empty. It stayed empty throughout our meal. We asked for the water, he offered a bottle of ice cold water from the fridge. When asked if there is a warmer one we can get (enen if tap water), insisted it's impossible. My partner had a sore throat, so ice cold water was not a welcome option.
