Excellence in every detail - that's what the Brugge Casselberg Grand Hotel is all about. We have not stayed yet in any other hotels of Casselberg network, but we want to do so now. Because we are really impressed. ||You may see hundreds of hotels in your life. The most of them pretend to be a luxury ones. But being a 56 years old, I never met the one that is perfect in any detail. ||Flowers in every premises are beautiful and all natural. They are all alive, and you will not find artificial plastic flowers there. ||The lounge bar is a very special place. It has an amazing atmosphere of quiet luxury and impressive privacy. With its delicate and friendly staff, it provides an unbelievable and charming experience. It is a place where life stops running, so you can truly feel it. The lounge bar was the first place that we discovered a long time ago. We are living near Brugge and were spending a lot of time there enjoying it while walking around. Surprisingly, reasonable prices for extraordinary quality drinks have made this place our favorite. It was perfect for business meetings or a rare romantic interlude with my wife. Thanks to her, we found the place.||But we were sure that rooms cost skyes and even never asked for it, until my birthday. We were surprised to discover that it is quite affordable in comparison to any other historic hotel in the heart of Bruges. You can have a superior room for as little as only 140 - 170 euros. Let's be honest, an average B&B in Brugge costs the same money, but will never be comparable to the luxury your money can buy here, in Casselberg.||I could write for hours about the joy and advantages we've experienced from small details and the perfection in everything. Small, but nice wellness SPA and sport complex is included in the room cost. We enjoyed the hammam every evening. Not crowded, not noisy, clean, private, and enjoyable.||The food, selected with love and care, was served with royal generosity at the breakfast buffet. Fresh fruits, a huge selection of cheeses, fresh tasty bakery, ham, salmon - anything you may desire. No juices made of any concentrate. Only freshly made juices. Simple but all good and tasty. ||And I know that everyone of us can find some flaws or disadvantages if we are really keen on it. Let's say we have a very few. No cotton buds in the bathroom. We do not really understand the concept of the paintings on the walls. I personally do not like them, as I'm sure they could do it better. But that is absolut peanuts and does not affect my overall impression.||If you want to be the king of the castle for a while, you should try the Casselberg...

I was staying at this hotel for one night during a business trip. I had to check out very early in the morning , due to my professional obligations the next day and in the rush I forgot my designer handbag in the closet. Unfortunately I realised the day after, when unpacking my suitcase at home, that I had left my bag in the room. I immediately called the hotel and the front desk told me that the same day new guests checked in and that apparently nothing was found, when the room was cleaned! I contacted via email and by phone several times the front desk and one of the responsible managers of the hotel, Mr Lagrou. Communication was very difficult with this gentleman, since he promised to get back to me within 24h , in order to investigate It took him several reminders via phone and email until he responded with an email stating that he has no solution to offer and that leaving a bag in a hotel room is like leaving a laptop in a public train, the hotel does not take any responsibility...this was the glorious answer after 1 week of absence of communication from Mr Lagrou ! The hotel did not find my bag neither they offered a compensation, not even an apology! My bag was in the room when I left , either housekeeping did not do its job by properly cleaning the room before the next guest checked in and the next guest took it or housekeeping took it themself. Either way my bag worth of 2000 Euros was stolen in this hotel! Mr Egon Lagrou showed maximum unprofessionalism and I can only warn future guests to keep an eye on their precious belongings...! It is the first time in my life that I write a negative comment on the internet, but this needed to be published! Hopefully I can now find my peace, knowing I have warned future guests, so that they do not find themselves in such...

On behalf of the European Seniors’ Union, we would like to extend our warmest gratitude to you and your entire team at the Grand Hotel Casselbergh for the outstanding services provided during the organisation of our Seniors’ Summer Academy, held from 12 to 14 September 2025.||We were truly delighted to host our event in your prestigious hotel, and we are pleased to rate our experience as five stars in every respect. From the planning stages to the conclusion of the Academy, your professionalism, hospitality, and attention to detail were instrumental in ensuring the success of our gathering.||In particular, we wish to express our deep appreciation for the exceptional support of Ms. Laura Smith, Assistant General Manager, and Mr. Jakob, Project Coordinator. Their flexibility, responsiveness, friendliness, and availability both before and throughout the event were invaluable. Their excellent competencies and commitment reflected the highest standards of service and contributed greatly to a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.||We also warmly commend the entire hotel staff, including room service, for their courtesy and efficiency. I rarely write reviews unless I’ve had an exceptional experience or awful experience, so this review of Grand Casselbergh is a big deal for me to write! ✅The hotel is in a fantastic central location within five mins of the main square. ✅It was exceptionally clean. I have very high standards when it comes to cleanliness and I can honestly say it surpassed my expectations. Not sure if the carpets were recently replaced or if the hotel had undergone a recent renovation, but we stayed in the newer part and omg the carpets smelt amazing and were so plush. The hallways always smelt lovely too. The bathroom and room itself was cleaned to a high standard. I don’t usually use a hotel’s kettle or coffee machine, but it was super clean. I don’t even like touching the remote controls for the TV, but again, it was all so clean. They also offer free luxury slippers which was a really lovely touch. L’Occitane toiletries were also a nice addition. ✅ Didn’t use the restaurant but the bar area and multiple rooms to relax in were so grand and impressive. There was plenty of space, beautifully decorated rooms and multiple conference rooms. ✅ Didn’t interact with the staff that much- only upon check in and check out, but they were all friendly, professional and efficient. If I ever return to Bruges, I will 100% choose Grand Hotel Casselbergh! ❤️

Very beautiful hotel in a classic style. The interior is delightful and immerses you in the atmosphere of quiet aristocracy. Cozy, warm rooms. The view of the city is incredible. A stop for just one night decorated a visit to the city. Location Very convenient in the very center, you can walk to all the sights.

What a beautiful hotel! Me and my partner booked for one night whilst travelling around Belgium. We had just come from Ghent, a very easy to find hotel. Central enough for shops, restaurants and local attractions. This hotel is beautiful on the outside and on the inside is even better. You walk through the doors into the main reception on the right (I think) and the other side is a seating area. There’s also a bar which is open 12PM to 12AM. We got there about 1130ish and left our bags with them as our room wasn’t ready until 3pm. We checked into our room after 3, had a beautiful room in the new building just at the back of the old original building. Got a lovely view of the river which I wasn’t expecting. The bathroom is beautiful, had a bath and a separate shower. You get free shower gel, body milk, shampoo and conditioner aswell as some soap and shower caps. The room itself was comfortable and very spacious. There was a mini bar full of small alcoholic drinks, juices and ever cheese! The bed was very comfy and huge! Slept like a baby, we both did actually! We used the bar twice, lovely gentlemen there who brings your drinks over. A lot to choose from and not too pricey either. Such a lovely bar to sit at aswell! Definitely a place to stay at if we visit again.
