Mama Luca — Restaurant in Bruges

Update - this review was posted originally in Aug 24 but I made an edit last week and Google somehow has reposted it as recent review. Seems the owner did not realise it and decided to be rude to any comments.

The food came extremely slow. We’ve waited over an hour for all the food to come (6 mains and a starter). The starter even came later than all the mains. We’ve ordered two different types of steak and ordered medium rare. Both arrived well done instead! We’ve ordered one pasta and specifically asked for no salt as it’s for baby. The waitress said ok but when the food came, she said the taste will be heavy because they add cured meat in it. Turned out it is the saltiest food we’ve ordered! Stumbled across this place. The logo outside looked like a takeaway shop as they have tried to make mama Luca look cute. Don’t let this put you off. The service inside was fantastic the waitress was very friendly and helpful and chirpy. The food was great. We were asked how we would like our steak cooked. The food came out all together and was cooked perfectly. We were a group of 5 there all having starters and main courses. Dining at Mama Luca in Brugge was a delightful experience. The cozy atmosphere and elegant decor made us feel right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring excellent service.

The Mussels was beautifully presented and delicious. The flemish beef stew was cooked to perfection. The tiramisu was a perfect finish, with exquisite flavors and textures.
