In all honesty, I should leave you a single star simply due to your staff's attitude and pure rudeness to customers....yes there was more than just me that was barked at.

I was fortunate enough to be on a food tour, where our guide brought us to your location for some fries. We went to your side walk up window and was told, " you're going to have to wait...we're busy!"

Let me offer you some friendly advice and I'm sure you've heard it before, but hope it resonates..."if you cant take the heat, then get out of kitchen". You are in a chosen career field to serve the public...it was YOUR choice, so do yourself a favor...tighten up, or move on to something else. Your lack or manners, respect and overall hostility speak about you 10x fold. Pure trash bub.

Knowing that since you were sooooo busy and the order was going to be delayed even longer since you wouldnt even "take" a new order, I decided to go in and order a beer, because I didnt want to run a risk of dehydration. Wow was that a mistake as well. Myself and two other patrons calmly waited to be addressed, but the older gentleman running around serving food would not even look our way or acknowledge our presence.

After several awkward minutes, our friend kindly...and I mean KINDLY asked if we could order a couple drinks.....again the old "were to busy...NO!" was sputtered at us and he threw his hands up in the air.

Good grief man....seems like you are all unhappy with your selected profession and you just feed off one another. With that being said, I took my business three doors down to Bistro L'Homme Au Chapeau. Walked up, was greeted like a normal human being, was given several choices of draft on hand and made a purchase and I walked straight back and joined my group at your location with a cold beer provided by someone else.

In closing, several others asked where I got my beverage from. I smiled and pointed to the Bistro. I guess someone else's sales went up quite a bit today for the time I was...

We came in on a rainy Tuesday at 12pm. The waitstaff asked if we were here just for the fries or for plates because if we were here for just the fries we would go next door to their take out area to order. We were hungry and didn’t want to get wet so we dined in. 30 minutes later the restaurant was about 90% full.

The menu was extensive. They offered salads, burgers, tartare, fish, and various other entrees plus desserts. We must have been so hungry that we ordered the, Welsh Rarebit, and didn’t read the description. We thought we ordered a rabbit entree and that it was spelled in Dutch. We also got a side of fries.

Welsh rarebit is similar to a croque monsieur. It had a slice of bread underneath topped with ham, cheese and a fried egg and baked. It was good and comforting. The fries were cooked in beef fat and it had a light beefy taste however they were not crispy. We had Belgium fries 3 times on this day and these were our least favorite.

We were later disappointed we skipped on the Zeeland mussels, another assumption as we thought they were New Zealand mussels but they were not. Don’t be like us, if you are not sure about something on the menu, ask or do a quick...

I went to Cafe Georgette two years ago and it was great. So I decided to go back for my birthday yesterday and it was a nightmare ! First of all, our waiter looked pretty high ... It was uncomfortable and difficult to order from him. Then we received our dishes for which we had requested 2-3 changes and they forgot half of the changes (like 'no bacon'..). Also, as you can see on the picture, the plates were particularly random : some of us got a fancy looking dish, others got a flat burger cut in half on a white plate. The burgers were ok, quite tasty. And then around 10 PM, while we were still drinking our teas (no after dinner coffee available), we were given our bill to pay as they obviously wanted to close early - they were starting to put the chairs on the tables ! So I told the barman that I saw the restaurant was open till 11 PM and he told me not anymore because of the COVID measures. Untrue ! The measures have relaxed, we don't even need to wear masks anymore. Anyway all in all it was a very weird night and I will not...
