Harvest — Restaurant in Brussels

I wouldn’t bother booking here. My boyfriend and I booked a table at Harvest for a special meal during our trip to Brussels from the UK. The booking was confirmed when we booked a month previously but then the day before my boyfriend missed an email asking us to reconfirm the booking and then we got a subsequent email on the day saying due to this our booking has been cancelled. We were indignant at this process so we tried to contact the restaurant numerous times to inform them we would still like to attend our booking and how unfair it was to cancel a booking that had been made months before just because of one missed email the day before but they were uncontactable. We went to our scheduled booking anyway as we were really looking forward to our evening only to find the restaurant closed, not only closed but it looked completely deserted and dilapidated. Absolutely the most awful culinary experience of my life in the world! The food is absolutely not good, both in taste and composition. Nothing tastes good , everything is dull and no ingredient connects with the other. Every course gets even worse and the wine pairing is very bad! I couldn't even finish the entire dishes since they were so bad. Seriously, how can this level of food even exist?? The restaurant is poorly designed, the atmosphere is non existent and the service is super slow. You wait more than 20 min between courses. The dessert was just awful . On top of all that you pay 190€ for 2 people!! Shame on this place, it should be closed immediately! No word written here can truly describe how awful this...
