My boyfriend and I have been going here for our date nights every week for the past 9 months, so we've had a lot of pizza here! While it used to be consistently great pizza (some of the best I have ever had), issues in the past ~3 months cannot be overlooked anymore. They changed their menu (increased all prices by €2), and suddenly the pizzas would come out overcooked and the servers were slightly less kind than before. I'm not sure if the ownership changed, but we also haven't seen our favorite server since then. Today was the last time we'll be going here. They took our order and completely forgot about us. After an hour of waiting for our food, we finally decided to tell them how long we'd been waiting. They had been completely unaware (even though we were sitting right in front of the kitchen & therefore the servers) and made our pizzas within five minutes. Read moreI come here at least once a month because i like their pizzas- Today was bad- and I mean terrible. We ordered a chilli my lips ( which is my usual order) there was basically not cheese in the pizza at all- when we asked the waiter if that was normal, he said yes but offered a new one. Until here eveything okey. Now, the second pizza was badly made in purpose- vengative; there was so much cheese, that the pizza was far from eatible- and there was so much cheese that all the water from the cheeee was coming out and it seemed like a soup. U.n.e.a.t.a.b.l.e. Also to top the cherr: the waiter was very unprofesional- not happy about us getting a second one the guy basically dropped the pizza plate on the table with a hard face and without saying a sibgle word. I am chef myself, and when you do something wrong, its your profesional obligation to fix it ... no just getting all vengative and ruining someones lunch.They wont be seeing me here...
Read morePeople who call this real Neapolitan pizza should have their head checked. Nowhere does this deserve 4 stars, the dough is just like bubblegum after just 2 minutes. Real Neapolitan pizza is soft and crunchy, and has air inside the crust, which was not the case here. It's a disgrace calling this real Neapolitan pizza. Aside from this, the mood inside is like the Hardrock Café, loud music and not really something resembling anything Italian. House wine was awful, it says a lot about their level of professionalism. Well, the only positive thing was the service, at least they were forthcoming and nice. I should have known it would be bad, in the middle of the tourist centre of Ghent, never a good thing.
