Nepal Delight — Restaurant in Ghent

Don't order out from this restaurant. If you're out of luck they forget your order and come up with a bad excuse and take no responsibility for it. My order was more than an hour late (I ordered at 19h and received it at 21h). I also called at 20.30h and they said it was "on the way". The place is literally 5' biking from here and it didn't arrive until 21h.

Also, I specifically mentioned 'no cilantro' in the comments and even put it in the 'allergies' section, as well so they would notice. They didn't see that either, they even put some extra on top of the main course. If it's cooking into the food, I get it (just mention it in the ingredients next time), but putting some on top, that's negligent.

On the other hand, the food is decent, and if it didn't have the cilantro, I probably would've given it a 4* review on the food only.

This is my very first 1* review and I'm willing to change it if someone takes up some responsibility for messing up my order with proper apologies, because the delivery guy sure didn't: "Ah, mister, sorry, but it happens sometimes". No. You don't take 2 hours for a small order like mine and then try to brush me off with an excuse like that.

This kind of service, especially when someone’s hungry and looking forward to their meal, is just poor. Right now, it was a very frustrating experience, and I can’t recommend...

If yes, I highly recommend this marvellous restaurant that I discovered while travelling to work that's called ''Asian Delight " in Normaalschoolstraat 7, 9000 Ghent. Since then I have been a regular visitor at this beautiful restaurant so many times and they never stop surprising. They serve a very authentic delicacy from Asian continent mainly from Nepal & India. Being an Asian myself I am acquainted with the real taste of asian cuisine. Which I found it in the restaurant here. I felt the real taste of Asia can be found there. They have a wide range of delicacy on the menu that is suitable for all kind of foodies. Vegetarians do not worry 🤗You will find super 👌choices for yourself too✌. Since am vegetarian I tried several vegetable curries every time I go there with some Naan or Rice by the side.
