Disclaimer : I very rarely put 5 stars for a place on google maps, but this place is definitely worth it. By no means, this post is sponsored. (None of my reviews are).
What drew me to this place was its authentic aura. I tried it initially by pure curiousity because I saw that the tarts they serve are made with a lot of care and attention to detail. Sometimes looks can be misleading, so I had to try their products firsthand, and I do not regret it. The tarts are made out of very good ingredients and have a very well tailored taste balance : enough to satisfy your sweet cravings, but without being too sweet. It's a balance of tastiness, sweetness and good quality, which for me, puts this place in the top 5 dessert spots in Ghent.
What I also appreciate about this place is the attention and respect given to the customer. Which is for me, not to be taken for granted as it represents an active effort to make you feel relaxed and welcomed.
The prices are fair, the ambience is nice. I would totally recommend it if you're looking for a very nice atmosphere to eat some craftully made tarts. Respect and...

It’s light, with several textures: mousse, gel, coulis, cake, fresh fruits, and the delicious sweet dough that has a crustiness like no other! The taste is a symphony, a perfect balance of flavours, not too sweet. It doesn’t weigh you down. It’s just like a little piece of heaven! This place is worth the best bakeries of Paris! The two owners are really lovely and friendly, so passionate about their job. The decoration is perfect, chic but not pretentious, just right! I just need to come back to make a few more reviews focused on the savoury pies and...

You can watch the tarts being carefully hand crafted by staff (who were really friendly). Both indoor and outdoor seating...
