They have a burger on the menu and I asked them if they could serve it simple (just cheese and meat) They said yes ! Burguer arrives and it's filled with vegetables (tomatoes pickles and some more type of lettuce) I proceed to remove those myself because I was hungry anyways First bite into the burguer and I discover it's 50% onion 50% meat I take 4 bites of the burger and just give up The person that took the order could see my burger didn't come as I asked and she proceeded to avoid the table and get her colleague to attend us from there I explained the situation to her colleague and he seemed apathetic but he did say sorry twice even though it was not directly his fault. At the end they still charged me for the burguer that I took 4 bites of The two waiters present seemed to not have the ideal experience or vocabulary to be serving foreign people since neither of them had many words towards us and still agreed to serve me a simple burger when obviously they couldn't since the meat is already mixed with onion Maybe have clearer menus that inform the client of what they are eating, or better yet take time to train your staff and don't worry just about...
Read moreIf it happens to be a sunny, summer's day in Brussels (a rare but welcome occasion) and you're looking for a place with a beautiful and cosy outdoor area, full of greenery and a warm atmosphere then this would be a good option. At 30 euros a dish I would be looking for something just slightly more sophisticated, something that offers a little wow moment when you take that first bite. Don't get me wrong the food is not bad - though I was not a big fan of the desserts but I don't have a sweet tooth so I admit that I'm maybe not the best judge. Overall, I would give it a go, particularly for the ambiance, who doesn't love a...
Read moreWe had the most wonderful experience at Casa Louise – the perfect venue for a late dinner! The team were fantastic, providing great service and ensuring every detail was taken care of. They kindly seated us in a spacious corner to accommodate our dog, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The food was exceptional – fresh and flavoured to perfection. We’ve never had chicken like it; you can truly tell that everything is cooked from scratch with care. The chef’s pride in his work shines through in every bite, and it was lovely that he came to speak with us at the end of the meal. He even apologised in case service was slow, though we had absolutely no issues – we were in no rush and appreciated the relaxed atmosphere for our late dinner.
A huge thank you to everyone at Casa Louise for making our...
