This (Sept. 1) was my second visit to Deuxième Element and I’d say the waitress’ attitude botched an otherwise nice dinner.
The starters and the main dishes were not bad; however, the rice that came with the main course tasted like old rice (some part of it too hard and dry and some part of it too soft) and it was nearly cold, not even lukewarm.
It was a bummer but since we didn’t really need the carbs, I thought a friendly reminder at the end of the meal would do. I was surprised to be greeted with an impatient attitude when I brought it up. The waitress seemed annoyed and acted as if it was my problem, rather than the restaurant’s. Also, not a single word of apology was offered.
This sort of customer service ruined the dining experience. Plus, if you’re opening an Asian restaurant, at least cook and serve your rice right. It is as...

Took them 30mn to bring the starter and about an hour to bring us the main course. The rice was extremely overcooked and almost unedible. The sauces were super cold. One of them had very unclean stinky shrimps . When we asked for the bill they came and said their card system was down, we roamed around for 15 mn to find an ATM and we came back to pay. I gave them feedback about service and food and all three of them went mad at me and the bar woman even shouted saying taking your change and leave. When I told them I will give you a bad Google review, they said we could not care less. Absolutely disgusting!...

The sauce was extremely sweet (almost to the point where you cannot eat it tbh), the beef was way over cooked, the rice was also way over cooked and in very small quantity compared to the meat (that was served fairly good). Something else that bothered me is that on the table you could find a fork and a spoon but no chopstick, which I find weird in a thaï restaurant… Waiters were...
